There was an appropriately sized television, toiletries, and unlimited tea and coffee by a kettle. in terms of the area it was down a street with rats, although there was rats everywhere in Colombo. "What a great place! Nicely furnished, clean & comfortable. The owner is FANTASTIC & she makes a yummy breakfast every morning. Everything that you need is nearby, restaurants, bars, live music, shopping. The beach is directly across the street. You can also use the facilities of the resort across the street for 2,000 rupees per day. This includes beach chairs, towel, pool, wi-fi, restaurant & bar. I would definitely stay here again if I ever return to Sri Lanka. "

"this is a small hotel but needs to improve on maintenance big time. Dining hall greets you as you enter the hotel and its full of flies and bad smell, probably from the garbage room beside elevator. took a peek in the kitchen and its filthy. linens are stained and dirty linens lying around everywhere in the corridor. If they can maintain it well, this could be an excellent budget hotel."

"Lovely hosts giving you a truely personal experience. Access to next hotel's pool is a nice touch. The room layout was odd but they will be undergoing renovation soon so hopefully reworking the internal layout. Otherwise clean and tidy and nice view of the garden to the beach. "The host speaks perfect English and couldn't have been more helpful, giving us tips about the surrounding area, and fetching our bags from a neighbouring hotel. Breakfast was huge and delicious. The only thing that lets this place down slightly is the mattress on the bed wants to roll you off onto the floor, but if you stay in the centre it's mostly ok."

"this family lead hotel with 3 rooms is one of the best small hotels that i’ve seen. The rooms are clean and everything works just fine. The owner does the most to make you have an plesant stay. While only new on expedia this hotel is well reviewed on tripadvisor and other booking sites. This hotel is not located in the center of negombo but the hospitality en quality of the hotel makes up for that. Verry good cost to quality ratio."
