“Excellent customer service”

Excellent customer relations, service and facilities. One draw back is narrow stair access to first floor appartments a little onerous for luggage handling, but compensated for by other excellent features.

“Well Equipped Motel”

This was our final night in New Zealand and we were not disappointed,though the room was compact it delivered everything that you required.It was well decorated,light and airy & well equipped together with free wi fi and proper coffee.It was a short drive to the park at central Christchurch & the airport.

“A clean little gem!”

We didn't arrive until midnight and the staff were very accommodating of this. The room was very clean (and cleaned beautifully everyday). Breakfast was great value and the staff were always friendly and helpful. Shuttle to the airport was fantastic - left as soon as I asked and saved me cab money! Location is a little far away from the shops but the 15 min stroll there is quiet and let's you see some of the town. The only issue I had was that the hotel description specified free wireless internet however I had to pay when I arrived. Although on saying that, it was very cheap (a bit slow though). Ironing board and iron facilities were very convenient too!! A really nice little room and a great place to stay!

“A very good airport option”

The staff were extremely helpful with their advice and assistance for dropping off our hire car, eating options nearby, gave us free wifi and booked our taxi and so enabled us to catch our early morning international flight without any concerns. Thankyou. The only thing we could suggest they supply in the room is a box of tissues.

“Owner"s conduct out of line, hotel is very nice”

The hotel was fine but the owner's conduct was out of line. He opened our room at midnight with his pass key, walking into our room with knocking. He wanted to know who we were and what we were doing there. We had booked the room and talked to his wife on the phone. He told me the next morning he was sorry, that he should have checked the register before he came to our room. His conduct was clearly our of line.but the hotel was very nice.

“Westside story in Christchurch”

In addition to above not far from airport and there's a bus stop, should you need to use it, right outside the gate. My standard studio suite was fairly adjacent the main road so there was expected traffic noise up until 1100 p.m on the 2 nights I stayed but pretty quiet thereafter. If light in your room can interfere with your sleep pattern, then try to get a room further away from the main road and the motel's front entrance lights as the slight glare does come through the gap between the window and curtain track..if you know what I mean! The ironing board needs some padding..hard to get a good result when pressing your shirt and the iron needs a cover over the water vent. Other than that, a really nice place to be enjoyed.
