“Chendgu - Shangri la”

Excellent hotel. Everything was perfect. Would stay there for sure. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The hotel is brand spanking new. Loved the experience.

The floral arrangements are amazing and the lobby bar at night is a little piece of heaven at the end of the day. The staff is excellent and they even manage to remember your name when you come through the door! (The only other hotel that I've know to do this is the legendary Imperial Hotel in Vienna) Get a room with a view.

“Great hotel”

This is an outstanding hotel. Staff are knowledgeable and helpful. The breakfast and dinner buffets are amazing: food from all over the world, wonderfully prepared, lots of variety. The hotel is clean and very well run. I'd recommend it to anyone.

“Incredible!”

This is one of the finest hotels I have ever stayed in. Brand new, with quality rooms, upscale linens, fantastic views over all of downtown Chengdu, fine food, a good bar, great lounge, and very competent and hospitable staff. Throw in the superior spa and great location and you have a winner.

I had an excellent time at this hotel. The facilities including the piano bar, swimming pool and 3 restaurants were great. The location was convenient to shopping and tourist activities. The staff was very accommodating and English was spoken by most on duty. The view from our 16th floor room was quite nice especially at night with the glow of the city lights below. The view during the day was not so great due to the smog. I can't holed that against the hotel, obviously!

“Wow”

This was my first time in China. I could not have picked a better hotel! Staff were friendly even thought I don't speak a word of Chinese, and the room was very comfortable. The buffet was just awesome.

This hotel is brand new and has all of the amenties. One of the nicest hotels in China.

This is very new Hotel, but very excellent. There were some facilities that had not open when I was there. However, you can get by without them.

The hotel was beautiful and every hotel employee was kind and helpfull. The concierge in particular was wonderful, directing us to a great spot for "Hot Pot" a special local food. Then making sure we arrived at the Stadium well in time for our world cup football game. The spa was also great although it will be better once construction is over. A calming facial is not so calm with jackhamers going in the background. The rooms are beautiful and only time will tell if they are well maintained. The food is good and to western tastes but twice what we ordered arrived cold or just warm, I think with time this will improve. The location is good and it is easy to travel within the city from the hotel. I would recomend this hotel to both business and leisure travelers.
