"Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. I was hard pressed to find ANY discrepancies with the room, property, or otherwise. When booking I did not notice that valet parking was the only parking option and was caught off guard upon arrival. But with the downtown location it actually was beneficial and worth the cost. The venue for our concert was literally right across the street and there were numerous restaurants, coffee shops, etc within walking distance. Staff was very friendly and helpful with information about the area. Highly recommend and would stay there again."

"I went to valet to get my car parked and at first, I was becoming irritated because it said 5 minute valet parking, but I was waiting for longer than that. I had to go inside to ask the front check-in staff if I could get my car parked by the valet because I was waiting a while. We found she was inside the luggage closet. She came out and immediately parked our car after giving us our ticket and getting our information. The check-in staff was very nice and was upfront about additional charges IF I wanted to check-in early. Being that I was on a budget, I forewent it, but the front staff did tell me that they could hold our bags if we wanted to wait for 3 PM. I did that and spent time at the convention center for Phoenix Fan Fusion. The room was very clean and the hallways smelled wonderfully citrusy. Trying to connect to streaming by phone onto the TV with my iPhone didn't work. We did watch local TV at night. Now the bed was amazing! My child and I slept so well. It was clean, so comfortable, the next morning we didn't want to leave! Breakfast was perfect, as our requests were perfectly met. It was so tasty! Only things I'd say that weren't amazing was: the street noise level at night, a strange odor coming from the chaise lounge by the window (smelled like something I can't say here), the long valet wait time, the connectivity to the TV, and there was only one USB-C Lightning Port for charging and it was on the one lamp on the table. "

"This hotel is quite modern, but lacking ALL the modern amenities like multiple USB wall sockets. I loved the location and cleanliness. I can see how it would be great for longer-term stays. Sadly, I didn't get a chance to use the pool and workout room. I disliked the self check-in and check-out for the parking garage. It was too modern and tech reliant. I only realized that once I was in my room, I needed my license plate number. My parking space then expired while I was headed back down to the parking garage. There was no means by which to call down to the front desk for help. The AI chatbot also could not help me. We could have used more coffee pods and creamers and being ARIDzona, body lotion."

"We stayed downtown for the Rod Stewart concert. The Hyatt is nice, the staff at check in were very polite. The bartender was great. Highly recommended this hotel for a stay downtown, hope to stay again."
Downtown Phoenix Hotel

"The room with 2 queens was clean and attractive. The air conditioning did very well in 107 F heat. There’s a lovel outdoor space with tables and umbrells. Parking was barely enough. A couple of times we got the last space. Also, the caulking in the bathroom was stained and unsightly. Some people might be bothered by the neighborhood, but those people should just go get a Marriott. The Downtown Phoenix was a very good value."

"No pillows…bed had 3 very flat small pillows. Asked front desk for additional pillows…she said they didn’t have any extra pillows for guest…bed is old and very hard. Light from hallway illuminates entire room from open air vent above door. No way to block light out. Side walks outside hotel …drug deals going on. Parking garage closest to hotel ..homeless sleeping in doorways. Stickey urine in all stairwells."

"This place was perfect. Location was great! We went for a concert and loved how close it was to stores and the venue. Breakfast was delicious, the restaurant served a delicious dinner… Already booked again for another show in 2 weeks."
