“Hotel with professional staff who are willing to help”
Especially I want to appreciate the help from Lobby Manager (Jennifer) who gave us good suggestions and comfort when our passports were stolen in the city mall. Also the location is very good, close to the Chinese Consulate. I think it's a right place to stay if you travel to Cebu city but personlly I do not recmmend the city.
“Excellent Place, Will Be Even Better”
When I stayed there I could find nothing to warrent a complaint. The service was excellent, and the staff was pleasent and courtous. All in all a fine establishment. It was in the last stages of completion while I was there, and whenn construction is done in 2010 ( if things go as planned ) it will be even better than when I stayed, with more attractions and comforts. I would recommend it.
“A worthwhile stay”
The Crown is centrally located in Cebu with shopping nearby and most business/attractions close. It is pretty far from any of the beaches, so swimming outings will require a 30+ min taxi ride. The rooms are clean with basic necessities. The beds are nice and the comforter covers are changed daily. The staff is very friendly and ready to assist. Quality of construction and maintenance on the better side for the Philippines, but often not up to expectations. There are 4 swimming pools (indoor/outdoor) that are pretty fun and decently maintained. The breakfast buffet is about a 5 out of 10. The menu rarely changes and there is not much variety. This hotel is a favorite for Chinese and Korean tourists. Expect to battle a sea of tourists daily as you take two elevator rides to get to your room - even in the 'low' season. I have stayed there four times for a total of about two months in the hotel. I would expect to return.
“I enjoyed my stay and will stay there again when I return.”
I enjoyed the hotel and the activities there were great but the elevator was really frustrating. They only had one set of elevators from the lobby up and they both only went to the 19th floor and you had to get off and take another elevator to the floors above that. I'm not sure if it's crowded all the time but when I was there, it was really crowded and it took about 10 to 15 minutes to get from the ground floor to your room above the 19th floor and the elevator was almost always full. Even with the "do not disturb" sign on the door, they rang the doorbell and came on in anyway. I didn't like that and I really don’t think they should do this. Other than these two things, it was great!!
“Cebu Crown Regency”
Great location, good clean hotel. Had to repeatedly request housekeeping, but room was very comfortable. Pool under some renovation, but otherwise fine. A bit confusing as elevators only in one tower, then walk through to other.
“New hotel, centrally located”
Excellent-- 1) The manager at the front desk always had a smile and was very service-oriented. Good-- 1) New building. 2) Nice rooms with sweeping views. Comparable to rooms at boutique hotels in Atlanta. 3) Good front desk reception and service. 4) Good service at breakfast lounge. 5) Close to Rustan's shopping complex; internet cafe at the first floor. 6) Safe deposit box available at front desk. Could be better-- 1) Hot water never got pass lukewarm. 2) Maintenance was a little slow. 3) No dine-in service. 4) Bellmen not friendly and unresponsive at times. 5) spotty WiFi service. 6) could never get face towels and only one roll of toilet paper provided. 7) There is no service elevator; service personnel a little loud at times. You may also share an elevator with service carts and many service personnel moving up and down. 8) Don't bother with the restaurants in the building complex; all are membership-based and can cost you more money than if you go outside. The food isn't that good anyway.
“A great stay!”
Convenient.check-in took longer than i thought nonetheless its not that bad.breakfast was impressive as compared to other hotels in cebu city.lobby is a bit small which is a bit disappointing.easy access to a starbucks chain right in the lobby area.would definitely go back and stay.
“Nice hotel but has too few elevators”
The hotel was a very nice hotel with good service and clean rooms. The windows were dirty (on the outside) taking away from the view though on the 24th floor. My biggest concern though was there is only 2 elevators going up to the 19th floor where you have to transfer to other elevators to higher floors. The elevators are very busy most of the daytime when the attractions on the 19th floor are open causing long wait times for elevators.

“Pricey. Poor area.”
Excellent staff at check-in. Allowed us into room at 8am. In room we were greeted by a letter informing us food and alcohol from outside outlets was not permitted and a corkage charge would apply. This outrageous rule was not enforced ,thankfully,by security. Breakfast was not of 4 star quality,maybe 2 and a half. Hotel is situated in what now be described as a red light area. Room rate was very pricey, would suggest paying extra and staying in the Marriot which is in a much better area or paying half price at the Cebu Midtown in the same area. The room was big and comfortable
