"Fantastic week in Avalon! Loved "living in the neighborhood." Neighbors were very friendly and welcoming from the very beginning - not just after they realized we were quiet and respectful guests. Loved the outdoor living spaces with incredible views. Jetted tub in bay window looking at the ocean didn't hurt either. =) No problems whatsoever and owner responded immediately to all my questions. Certainly hope to return to Catalina Island someday and would definitely rent this property again....

"My family traveled to Catalina on the tail end of a long vacation. The charm of this house is one of a kind and the location was absolutely perfect! We did not cook but if we did it had everything needed to do so. The beds were so comfortable with grey linens and warm blankets. We relaxed in the evenings watching tv in the living room after fun filled adventures on the island. I’ve already began planning our next stay, hoping it’s available."

"This older home had an awesome location just a few blocks off the main strip. The house is very big with lots of amazing outdoor space. The house was musty when we got there so we opened the windows and that helped. I recommend leaving a window or two open when you go into town as the smell returns when the house is closed up. Well appointed house. Bring your own beach towels or rent some down by the beach. The early check in they allowed us was a huge bonus. Make sure to charge the golf cart as...

"Great place to stay. Loved the porch and all the amenities. House was very well kept and cute. Much larger than anticipated. Only issue was the beds. Need new mattresses. Overall though, we had a great time and liked the rental. Will use it again. "

"Amazing location! The property was exactly what was stated on the listing.. Beautiful view! Very spacious. Coffee in the morning on the balcony overlooking the ocean was a plus! Everything about this property was EXCELLENT! The Golf Cart is a definite bonus! The only downer was that there was excess amount of long Blonde Hair on the bed. My wife is a Brunette… Housekeeping needs to do a better job of cleaning! I’m a planner and I reached out to our Host Chela Hernandez multiple times via email...

"Gale warnings on Sunday cancelled all boats. The landlord gave us a 50% discount on the VRBO listing for the extra night. A definite comebacker. Puzzles, videos, books, Oven and full size refrigerator. Easy walking distance to shuttles, Vons and beach. Recommend Highly. Watch for email from owner requesting credit card to get lockbox number. Small snag. our fault."

"The home was clean and well maintained. It's not a huge home but it was more than ample for 6 adults. Everything worked without exception. The kitchen had everything needed for any type of meal. Vons is just a block away and the board walk just a couple more blocks. The owner Amy is congenial and helpful. For the cost we believe it's the best deal in town."
