"The cottage is lovely and the owner was very personable. Our only disappointment was the breakfast provisions. We thought if we had been tourists staying in the Huon we would have expected some lovely local produce. Instead it was just Coles brand items. The facilities are very nice though and it was perfect for what we needed."

"The host was very welcoming and explained everything to us as we were guided to our accomodation. What a lovely surprise, a deck to view the rolling hills and river from, step inside this 1840 exquisite building and first thing that greets you is a cask of port with enough in it for 6 tipples sitting on that lovely deck (which also has a bbq btw). The bed was amazingly comfortable and the area is very peaceful. The host also suppies the many books he has written and published and he has copies...

"Best accommodation we have ever stayed in. The cottage was handcrafted by a craftsman. The decor is themed after Beaupre, the early French explorer (hydrographer), supported with a good number of antiques, collectables and hand knotted oriental rugs. The fit-out is top quality and consumables include everything imaginable from full scale sewing kits to snake bite kits. Wonderful, local breakfast supplies with fresh flowers and herbs throughout, complete the cottage. And don't get me going on how...

"This property was amazing! The wood fireplace and the location on the property was just spectacular! Heidi and her husband was fantastic. We rang to say we would be there in the dark and they had the fireplace going for us so the place was nice and warm for our arrival. They even had breakfast provisions for us in the fridge and a freshly made loaf of their own bread! Could not fault our stay!"
