“ok choice - but didnt clean our room”
My husband and i stayed here for 9 days on our honeymoon. The staff were very friendly and the restaurant was great. However it is a little bit out of the way, i.e. we had to get a taxi to go to the beach and out to dinner (other than the hotel restaurant). This probably is part of the reason that the hotel restaurant is very expensive, nice food but you pay through the nose. A schooner of beer is over $6. However the part i had the biggest gripe with, was that for the duration of our stay our room wasn’t serviced once. This was supposedly due to "different packages". However i find that ridiculous, it’s not like we stayed for 2 days we were there for over a week and we had to pay for fresh towels extra sachets of coffee, tea, milk. We even had to go and ask for more toilet paper. This really bought down my overall opinion of the place.
“Nickel and dimers”
This hotel ruined our holiday. All we wanted was a nice relaxed family holiday. Staff were rude and unhelpful rooms was dirty. Hair in all rooms, food under the couch and dirty bath tubs. Hotel is so far away from everything you can't just pop to the shops to get milk, the food there is quite expensive. Restaurant was so slow we had to ask ten times for everything. My two infants were charged as full paying. Absolutely nothing is complimentary. So disappointed with what could have been a nice family holiday.
“Great family hotel”
Have stayed here on a number of occasions and have always been very happy, accomodation is new and modern, price is always right and the kids play area is fantastic
“Bliss up North”
A visit to Paradise Palms Resort and Country Club happened by chance rather than design but what a joy it was! I purchased some cheap deals for my man and I and a couple of our friends living in Cairns and we had 2 nights at this great resort. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff. Check in and out was no fuss. We hadn't booked interconnecting rooms but they were happy to make the change to accomodate us so we could socialise. The rooms were beautifully clean and well appointed. The beds were comfortable. The facilities were fantastic, with 2 pools, great grounds and everything we needed available or close by. The resort's in a great location between Cairns and Port Douglas. The staff didn't treat us any differently just because we got a cheap deal and even better they offered us another brilliant deal as we were checking out which I can't take up but our friends and some of their friends (all locals) are certainly going to take advantage of. Good one Expedia. That's the sort of deal I love!
“Fantastic Resort!!!”
I can not speak highly enough of this resort. The staff were great, the hotel room was super clean (and I'm fussy with cleanliness), facilities were great, airconditioner worked so well I had to turn it down (and it was hot outside!) Pools were clean and in great condition. What I also loved was that there wasn't a bug or any insect at all in my room, and with the amount outside I was pleasantly surprised. I would definately book back into this hotel when we return to Cairns - no doubt at all!!!
“Great place, great golf”
We have been to Paradise Palms twice now. Couldn't wait to get back after our first visit. We stayed in a bedroom apartment, and there is every facility available. The rooms are spacious have a lovely balcony to sit and listen to the birds in the morning. There is television in the lounge room and bedroom. We love the restaurant and bar easy walk from the resort. The golf course just fantastic even after a cyclone. We got a great deal through expedia which made our stay even better.
“Modern and New, definitely go back!”
Paradise Palms surprised us as it surpassed our expectations! It was modern and still felt brand new. It is a very high quality resort at such an affordable price. It was clean and very spacious for a family of 4. The grounds and pool were excellent and the staff were courteous and friendly. We couldn't have been happier with our holiday there and will definitely be back!
“Will certainly go back”
The apartments were beautiful and clean, very spacious with great facilities and everything you require for a relaxing and memorable holiday. Plenty for little kids to do including mini golf which is free to guests. Staff were very friendly and helpful.
“The best place I have ever stayed at in Cairns. Loved it so much I'd move there to live.”
Excellent service and very customer friendly. The accommodation was very clean and tidy. Everything that we asked for was exceeded in return.
“Champagne Taste, Beer budget”
Luxury accommodation at a budget price! Only complaint is that you had to pay for pool towels - only $2each but surely they should be included. Excellent place to go with kids, the pool has a great wadding section and also the playground is excellent
