“Less than expected”

First arrange in a room next to a noisy construction site. Then got lectured about not taking hotel towel out or be fined. Hotel shoulder carry bag ran out.not impressed overall.

“Great Location, room a little tired”

Stayed two nights in a King Spa room 8th floor facing the esplanade. Bed is a little hard the pillows are a little soft, the pillow menu is not kept in the room. Did not sleep well. The mattress has some kind of topper fitted. Noisy area at night, lots of shouting and noisy cars. Location is great close to main attractions. Will not stay there again.

Area recommendations

Must see: Captain Cook highway north to Daintree. Spectacular allow a day at least.

“Not bad”

I stayed there 5 nights, and it wasn't bad except I ran out of shampoo and they didn't provide new one. There was a mistake in room charge but they corrected it quickly.

“Good choice in Cairns”

This hotel is quieter than others in the neighborhood. I really enjoyed the open rainforest on the room levels and the views of the harbor.

“wonderful night sleep”

The best thing about this hotel was the pillows. I asked the clerk where they get them from but she didn't know, (if anybody does please let me know). I suffer from neck pain and for the first time in I don't know how long I had the best night sleep and woke up with no pain. The service was friendly without being intrusive and the room was well appointed and quiet. We would certainly go back again on our next trip to Cairns.

“Very good expiriance”

Me and my wife found a great deal on a double deluxe room. We spent 4 nights in the hotel were for religios resons we couldnt use the elevator or the key door. The hotel staff took us up every time we needed up to our room, and opened the door for us. The maintenance of the room was great very clean. As I said befor the quality of the hotel service was "top notch", and everything was done with a smile on there face which gave us a very compfterble feeling during the whole stay.

“5 star hotel, 1 star service”

We only can classify this hotel as 5 stars for its hardwares. Softwares are totally failed even worse than a motel! Front desk is unhelpful. House keeping always forget to re-fill our daily items. We only can reaslize what kind of items we should normally have after 5 days stayed. More worse is when the first day we entry our room, an empty ice cream rubbish box was inside the refrigerator and last to our second day until we throw into the rubbish bin by ourselvies!
