Driving directions from Cairns: Drive to Kuranda (approximately 20 minutes). From Kuranda, follow the Kennedy Hwy approximately 12 miles towards Mareeba. Drive past Speewah. After the Mobil Fuel Station, drive approximately 1 km. Turn left at the Cedar Park Rainforest sign (Clohesy River Rd), and drive approximately 5.5 km through the forest.

“cedar park hotel”

This hotel was outstanding. Just stayed there in October of 2011 It is a bit off the beaten path -- you begin to think you are going the wrong way and should turn around but don't. You will not find a more relaxing and personal place to stay. Your hosts are friendly and you can tell they really love what they do. You will see all kinds of animals roaming around the place and some are friendly enough to pet.
