“Excellent”
An excellent resort located on Hollaways Beach, just a few miles away from Cairns with a very quiet and relaxing atmosphere. Many tours available with hotel pick up. Close to nearby beaches and public transportation. I recommend this hotel to anyone looking to get away from town for a quiet and peaceful stay.
“Lovely quite hotel”
This was a extremely comfortable hotel, very clean, beautiful setting. Beach just across the road and a hotel pool to enjoy. A little way out of Cairns reasonably regular bus service. I would definately return here loved Holloways Beach area.
“Highly recommended!!”
Very pleased with the hotel and staff. Small efficiency style apartment with full refrigerator, washer and dryer, electric hot plate for cooking along with a microwave. Very clean, grounds well kept, easy access to beach, airport, Cairn's, Kuranda and various tours. Still quiet and secluded area with beach right across the street. Hotel staff was very attentive and helpful and even confirmed bookings made with a separate online agent. I would not hesitate to recommend this hotel to friends and will definitely use again if in the area. You won't be disappointed.
“Travellers from Ottawa would go back anytime”
This little gem is a bit out of the way but well worth the drive. It is family oriented but quiet, comfortable and serene. The rooms are large and very comfortable. The apartment we were in was fully and completely equipped. The staff were outstanding. Small drawbacks are that there only two restaurants and one pizzeria within the Holloway Beach area, and the main grocery stores are beyond walking distance. We had a problem with the wireless internet which was unreliable anywhere beyond the reception area. Nevertheless a great spot.
“Not much around surrounding area”
Most everything around the resort is residential so there isn't much to do. Additionally, you can hear planes land and takeoff as the airport is nearby. However, the rooms are clean and do not look down. There is no oven but there is a stove, microwave, full size refridgerator/freezer. The beach is about a 30 second walk away. The pool is clean but the spa is the same temperature. It is a nice relaxing place to be if you don't want to do much nearby. However, there are day trips that you can go on with pick ups and drop offs.
“Great place at a great price”
A great apartment that had all the things that you would expect, kitchen area with microwave and toaster, air con, nice lounge area. Staff were always friendly and helpful. Holloways beach was nice and quiet, and the hotel is right on the beach, well a minutes walk anyway... :) Also very near the local restaurants, shop, and bottle-o.
“Large apartment on beautiful complex”
Pros:- King size bed is the biggest bed I've ever slept in! Air con worked a bit too well! Large fridge Laundry facilities Sea view from balcony and mountain view from bedroom Friendly and efficient staff who you can book tours through Lovely swimming pool Well tended grounds, very clean BBQ facilities on site with clean utensils Cons:- Sheets were not changed during the stay (though the towels were changed and the bin was emptied)

I really enjoyed my stay at the Cairns Beach Resort. The staff were super helpful. I definately will come back.
“Great resort just outside Cairns”
We had an excellent stay at the Cairns Beach Resort. The staff was very friendly and informative. They assisted us in everything from resteraunts to booking tours. The rooms were clean and nice, and the resort was very nice. I would definately recommend it!
