“Exceptionally good value at Expedia prices”
Everything about this hotel was excellent, and at the price charged by Expedia represents exceptionally good value for money. Sadly Expedia map puts the hotel some 10 km north of it's actual location.
“very impressed”
This hotel was lovely, a large resort, with a lovely pool and beautifu views. Suitable for couples, friends and families. Great value for money. Just one thing to bear in mind is that it is not very near Cadiz town, which is what I thought. Involves 2 bus journies, about 2 hours altogether.
“Location according to Expedia”
The location of the hotel according to the "pin" on the Expedia web site map is still wrong and very misleading. The Tartessus is, in fact, some 10Km futher south than the map would suggest.
“Good hotel good price”
A huge place, all rooms are self catering. 20 minute walk to lovely beach but no views from the rooms. Lot's of building work still going in the area. Supermarket close by and a new shopping centre set to open next door. The price was incredibly cheap and the rooms were fine. Probably more of a problem with parking in the summer as there is no car park. Overall: great value for money but th resaurant was not too good
“after 8 nights we were glad to leave”
Although the Tartessus apartments were very clean and comfortable we would not go back or recommend to friends. We were in a block of four and the neighbours were very noisy and didn't go to bed until 6am. The walls were so thin it was as if they were in with us. Also the smell of their cigarettes was putrid.The smoke filtered in through the air conditioning grills even though we had the air conditioning off. We asked to be moved but the complex had 9 coaches full of rowdy teenagers so it was bedlam outside too for most of the night.
