“Would use this hotel again”
It was a surprise trip for my husband's birthday and he was more than pleased to see I had booked a duplex room. The living quarter was home from home and the bedroom just as nice with a very comfortable bed. The only criticism I have is that the rooms were very dark, even if all the lights/lamps were on. One more criticism - it would be a help for fellow travellers if the restaurant/bar menus were in English as well as Spanish. Not all of us have mastered the language as yet and with my husband being very fussy with his food, having the menu in English would have saved some embarrassment, particularly as the restaurant staff didn't speak any English either.
“Quiet relaxing hotel, easy walking distance to main attractions.”
Reception staff realy helpful and spoke English. Our room was clean with a nice clean bright bathroom. It made a nice change to have the choice of English or Continental breakfast all included in the room price.Within easy walking distance of the main attractions of Jerez, and restaurants for dinner, but many dont open until 9pm.I would use this Hotel again and recommend it.
“Good hotel in convenient location”
I would recommend this hotel for a short break. We didn't have time to use the spa, but it looked nice and the staff were very friendly. The rooms were spacious and very nicely decorated. The buffet breakfast included in the room rate was fine. All the staff were helpful and it didn't matter that our Spanish was very limited! Easy to park (small charge).
“Quiet time in Jerez”
Just looking for a quiet weekend? Jerez is your spot. Not too much to do, but a quiet and small Spanish city can provide enough for a few days. The hotel is centrally located, an easy taxi ride from the train, has a nice little restaurant/bar with everything for the less demanding palate. Don't go looking for excitement, but definitely a relaxing spot.
“Don`t judge by initial impressions”
On arriving, we were not impressed at all by the reception at the Hotel. Very cold and not welcoming. However next day when reception staff had changed things were very different and we could not have been more satisfied with their service. Everything else about the Hotel was excellant including location, cleanliss and the breakfast. Did not eat an evening meal there so cannot comment on that. The only slight problem in the room was, being on the fourth floor and the room having a sloping roof in places, especially over the shower and toilet I did keep bumping my head and I am only 5ft 10ins.
“Lovely Spot in Jerez”
We spend 3 nights at Los Jandalos Jerez on our first trip to Spain. We were impressed with the room and general feel of the hotel. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The location was convenient for walking to the center of the city, equestrian school, zoo and restaurants. We would definitely stay there again.
“Excellent”
Very helpful staff, superb room, quiet, easy walk into centre, a really good atmosphere. We were delighted with the hotel and would definetly recommend and also return to ourselves. Jerez has character and fanatstic places to eat.
“Great experience, recommended”
Beautiful hotel. We had a junior suite which was quiet, roomy, and comfortable. TV had 3 english speaking channels. Room service, coffee and tea in the morning was prompt and hot. We did not use other hotel services. Reasonably close to the center of town. About a 20 minute walk to restaurants.
“Excelent value/price”
Good Quality and well located Hotel, only missing the restaurant or coffee shop.
“Superior Hotel”
Los Jandalos is an ideal base for exploring the sherry bodegas. The room was comfortable, carpeted and with a large bathroom. There was also a small ice machine on the second floor. The breakfast buffet had an extensive selection and was located in a beautifully-renovated sherry warehouse. Downtown Jerez is a short walk from the hotel. Sandeman's winery is within walking distance as well. We stayed for four nights in July 2007 and would definitely go back again. This is truly a 4-star hotel.
