“An extremely comfortable and friendly place”
We stayed 9th - 13th September, unable to report any significant hiccups, if we wanted to be really picky we could suggest the hotel needed one or two more waiting staff in the restaurant at breakfast time. The receptionists could not have been more helpful, especially Miriam, booked us front row seats for the Andalusian Horse Show (Tues and Thurs only, NOT to be missed) and a front row table for an excellent 4 course dinner and a fantastic Flamenco show. We were not charged any extra for use of the hotel indoor pool nor any of the spa facilities. No beauty service was available but the hotel made an appointment for my wife at a nearby salon for her mandatory pedicure - a must whenever we're on holiday ! We had a hired car but taxis into centre of town were very cheap, most shops shut from 1.30 - 5.30. We really enjoyed our stay and would have no hesitation to recommend it to anyone seeking a relaxing break.
“Relaxing and luxurious”
An excellent hotel for visiting Jerez. Being slightly out of the centre it provides a wonderful place to relax in luxury after a busy day sherry tasting and sight seeing. It has all the facilities a visitor could wish for with an excellent outdoor pool. The staff are both helpful and friendly, and nothing is too much trouble. I would definitely stay there again
“2nd visit and just as good”
our one dissapointment was the added charge to use indoor pool. this was not the case on our first trip and we have never had to pay for using pools in any other hotel.
“Second visit, lived up to expectations”
Luxurious surroundings, room very comfortable and big. Staff are very polite and helpful, worthy of it's 5* status. Dining is expensive in the restaurant, BBQ each Friday/Saturday evening during July/August is more of a formal meal, not self service and costs quickly mount up - quality of food is first class but portions relatively small. Pool is very welcome in the intense heat, could do with more sun loungers when busy. Not too near the town centre but a very pleasant walk into the town down the main tree-lined avenue. A further visit is highly likely.
“Don't hestitate !”
Very friendly and helpful staff, great pool( A massive plus point),rooms with terrace ,table and chairs, away from the bustle of the city but close enough to stroll in or take a short hop in a taxi.Perfect place for sightseeing or just to relax in the sun.
“Terrific Hotel”
This was a wonderful hotel. We were just sorry we only had one day there. The room was spacious and comfortable. Hotel Jerez had a great lobby bar and restaurant. we would definitely stay there again!!
“Good Value Hotel”
I booked 1 night in August for 2 families of 3. I chose this hotel as there was ample car-parking and easy to find and get to. I didn't want a repeat experience of driving the car down dark narrow streets when we visited Seville! The hotel was of good quality and clean. A comfortable 3rd bed was provided for my daughter at no extra charge. Lovely pool area which we used in the afternoon. Easy taxi ride to centre - about 6 euros. We found that we had time to view the main sites in the old town in an evening and visit any sherry bodegas the following morning. We had a light lunch in the hotel which was adequate and mid-priced. In the evening we ate in one of the many restaurants in the old town which I'm sure is a better bet than staying in the hotel as the hotel menu seemed fairly limited. Both families were pleased with the hotel for the price paid.
“Not impressed”
The hotel from outside, looks like a 5 star hotel, however, I found several issues: 1) The food is horrible and very expensive, there are much better and cheaper restaurants just a block or 2 from the hotel. 2) The room felt like a motel, 12" tv, outdated furniture, toilet was old and needed replacement. Overall, I cannot recommend this hotel to anyone who is looking for a 5 star hotel.
