“Can not praise it too much”
This hotel is all one needs from a hotel, a comfortable, clean room ( I only gave a 4 rating as the cleaner missed some crumbs we dropped on the floor) with efficient air conditioning. Breakfast was generous with fruit, cereals, meats and cheese plus bread and rolls for toasting, croissants, tea or coffeeand fruit juices = all 6,50 euros. Reception staff spoke English and were very pleasant and helpfull. It is located in the centre of the town just far enough away from the noise of the Plaza Arenal, but within easy walking distance of the shops, cafes, Cathedral as well as the Plaza Arenal. This 3 star hotel was much more comfortable than 4 star hotels where other members of my party stayed. Jerez is a city of great charm and if I manage to return I will certainly stay in the same hotel
“Jerez Dog Show (IFECA)”
Booked this Hotel through Expedia to stay in with our two White Swiss Shepherd dogs - well pleased with hotel - large comfortable double room with smart decor, fixtures and fittings. Nice surroundings in town with cobbled streets and nice bars and restaurants for people who want to eat out. Convenient for the dog show venue (IFECA) the next day. Only one downfall for us was the lack of hot water late at night for a bath although plenty was available in the morning.
“just right”
Great location, at first doesn't look to be so but out the door turn left, 1st left,1st right and in less than 5 mins in the heart of the market and commercial area, room (twin) clean and had a little balcony (not seating space but standing, pity view was a brickwall shutters made it feel "authentic") hotel has lift (not huge) and a cafe (ok) receptionists helpful and booked us into a restaurant with no charge for the call (pleasant surprise when coming to settle the bill). All in all a decent little place, did exactly what it said it would and well. I'd stay there again, no hesitation, my travelling companion said same.
“Excellent location and perfectly adequate facilities”
We spent 3 nights in this hotel and were generally very pleased. We were lucky enough to have a corner room with a "wraparound" balcony - ideal for sitting out. It's on a narrow street very close to the shops and just a few minutes' stroll from the bars and other attractions of Jerez.
“Not Impressed”
Difficult to find by car. The room was clean, adequate. Two grocery stores near by allowed us to have drinks and snacks, although a small refrigerator was in the room with a few items. We walked to the Andalucia equestrian show and asked to leave the car in the hotel parking below the building and permission was given. However, on our return the lady behind the check-in desk was very annoyed that we needed access to the garage to get the car. Maybe she was having a bad day. Overall the hotel did what we needed, no more no less.
