There was no staff member at the front desk during the morning for checkout. There was just a phone with the instruction, "Dial 0". I watched another guest try that, without result. Seems to me that staffing the front desk would be a high priority for a motel, to resolve problems, receive compliments, etc. Otherwise I was satisfied with my experience.

Hotel room was ok, clean enough. Service was poor, attendant didn't take trash out, didn't replace coffee or coffee cups. Two phone calls to the office about the coffee, attendant brought the coffee, had to call again for the cups.
Although an older property, the rooms were well maintained and clean. Easy access adjacent to I49, Walmart superstore just across the street, and a very good Mexican restaurant across I49 to the west.
The grounds and room were clean but kind of run down. The room was stuffy and the A/C barely kept the room comfortable. It was quiet because my room faced away from the highway.

Super 8 review
Stay was good. Room didn’t have a microwave or fridge so that was a little frustrating, but other than that it was a good stay.
Smell was mildew lime, staff was terribly rude and bitter. This place needs to be demolished and rebuilt. Worse hotel ive been to

I spend my weekends in Butler at Skydive KC, and for special events it is so much more convenient to stay at the local Super 8 versus the drive back to Olathe. It is a very comfortable budget hotel - nothing fancy. Facilities could use a renovation but they keep them clean and organized. I will stay again.
Your staying at a super 8 - not a 5 star hotel: but this place is so nice. clean from bugs, friendly staff, good location. highly suggest if you have a set budget

It was quiet, comfortable, over all not a bad stay
Stayed a couple of nights with our pet Yorkie's in the back single floor building with 2 queen beds (only charged me for room with full beds.) It was quiet, comfortable, room was clean, hot water, cold air, over all not bad. Management friendly and helpful.
Lights, shower curtain rods broke in our rooms. Showers barely work, water comes out of faucet as trying to take a shower so barely any water from shower head. Ceiling had previously been leaking or something and that wasn't even completely repaired. Doors not sealed, could see light from outside around doors, made me very uncomfortable.
Good location with near by stores and places to eat. Easy access to the highway and really couldn't hear much noise from the highway. Beds were a little hard for me but know a lot that like it that way. Typical Super 8 breakfast but did have waffles. Would stay there again if back in that area.

Didn't get to stay my husband was traveling on motorcycle and had been stuck in a storm system his card was not working to run a 50 deposit on the room to stay dry. I called to give my card number and asked what it was for she said, you give me the card number" I asked for her name as I will not just give out my card number without information of who I am giving it to and she said no I not deal with you people I cancel your room you go get your money back and hung up on me. I hope to see a refund as I paid for this room via hotels.com. Terrible service and sent a man to ride a motorcycle in the rain trying to get to his family on holiday. I am appalled at the treatment I received and my husband received. Over asking for her name and wanting a business card.
No one at front desk when arriving. I booked for 2 days originally. I decided on 1 because of incoming weather for return trip. Clock and refrigerator was unplugged. I plugged in refrigerator and inspected it and found mold on the rubber seals of the unit. I turned on the unit to cool it to use for food that night. After an hour, it had not cooled, I took me food out and put it in the vehicle because it was going to be 33 degrees that night. In the morning, the refrigerator still had not cooled. I unplugged it. One of the lights did not work. When dropping off the plastic card keys, the Indian (India) woman show indifference and the was a box on the desk where other people had dropped off their keys. She did not offer a receipt.
No service at the front desk the 3 times I went up there. The bathroom wasn't clean and the bed linens were worn and ill fitting. The toilet was malfunctioning, once I turned the water on myself.
Very unfriendly staff. They really didn’t like that I booked thru Expedia. Poor breakfast.
She put stuff away as soon as it turned 9 am. No coffee for the people that came in at 9:10.

We did business with expedia for long time, we did not have any problem with that. Break fast is as per super 8 requirement, and available for 6am to 9am. Coffee available for 24hr. You should talk to from dask for that. Please talk to staff, during your stay to solve problem, so you will get service.
Manager came out during check-in and asked me for 10 minutes, again and again, why I reserved a 2 bed room if it was just me staying. He wanted to know how many people were staying and didn't believe me that I was alone. He became annoyed and wanted me to pay for multiple people (Seriously, it was just me....). Finally gave me my room, just 1 bed even though I reserved the larger room.

In out door property, we need to be careful for that issue to avoid some unwanted guest, for peaceful stay for all other guests. I am sorry to say that for security and safety issues, we did ask people some questions. But most welcome again,

When minimum requirements meet minimum price
When you in advance you only need clean sheets, clean bathroom, basic amenities (TV, table, A/C, coffee, breakfast) then Supe 8 is highly convenient due to its price/accomodation ratio. You get what you pay.

We don't want to charge more money for thing you get next door for less and hot. We do have super 8 breakfast and nice room for vary best price.
It was an overall good facility. The only thing that was below par was the breakfast.

The cleanliness was not bad but trying to get help and answers from the staff was non existent to make matters worse I was charged through hotels. com then the hotel made two charges to my card and I can't get anyone to get it taken care of
