Property Amenities
The fitness centre is set in the basement and features a large fitness room, with treadmills, step machines, bikes and weights. Adjoining this are the sauna and steam room, a changing area and showers. Guests can borrow a laptop from reception in order to access the Internet. Wireless(high-speed) Internet access is provided for a surcharge. The garage houses up to 20 cars (surcharge). The hotel provides a 24 hour technical support phone number for those wanting to access the Internet.
Rooms
The hotel has 54 suites set over seven floors. All are decorated in blue and yellow and have seating areas, with navy blue and chrome leather armchairs and sofas, television and desks with phones and high speed/wireless Internet connections. The small kitchen areas feature sinks, microwaves, marble work surfaces and drawers of cutler and crockery, as well as small breakfast bars, fridges and complimentary tea/coffee.
The bedrooms have modern oak furniture, with bedheads decorated in a blue and yellow floral pattern, wardrobes, televisions and phones. Bathrooms feature white tiles, with showers or bathtub/shower combinations, toiletries, hair dryers and marble surfaces.

Starlight Café - Ground floor bar and café, where breakfast is served. Decorated in shades of blue, with banquettes and small tables, bold prints on the walls. Drinks are served here all day.
Recreation
Budapest is famous for its spa baths. The most famous of these are the Gellert Baths, which feature steam rooms, hot spa pools, cold plunge pools and an ornate Art Nouveau swimming pool. Visitors can also have massages and beauty treatments here; alternate days are for men or women only. The Gellert Baths are across the Danube from the hotel, 1.5 kilometres away; other baths in Budapest are the Rudas Baths (men only), Széchenyi Baths and Kiraly Baths. Margaret island, a leafy oasis in the centre of the Danube, lies two kilometres from the hotel and has a running track around its perimeter.

“Excellent location”
If you want a central location in a clean, comfortable hotel you can't beat this hotel. It doesn't have the 'trimmings' of a five star hotel, but the staff are friendly and helpful and the rooms very spacious and well equipped. We'd have preferred a kettle rather than a microwave to heat our water for tea/coffee but that is a small gripe in what was otherwise an excellent stay.
“Spacious central retreat”
Super clean and spacious. Friendly and helpful staff. Centrally located, so perfect for sight-seeing. Breakfast is an expensive, but unnecessary extra since coffee and a selection of croissants were quite enough for us. The only (tiny) negatives: wi-fi is an extra, and a kettle in the room would be better than the microwave for making tea.
“excellent value”
good position in Budapest, close to everything. Rooms very spacious and clean. Staff verry good, no complaints apart from not enough coat hangers which is not a complaint! only minor thing was that Budapest was very cold while we were there an could not get the air con onto heat, I am sure if we had asked reception they would have got it going, but couldnt really be bothered!
“Great Hotel, Great Location”
Spent 4 days in Starlight on a recent trip to Budapest for my boyfriends birthday. The apartments are very clean, very spacious and comfortable. Value for money is brilliant. The staff are friendly and happy to help you at any time (even batteries for your camera). Although there is no restaurant, the breakfast buffet is the quality of most 4* hotels, you can even have it delivered to your room. Location is just a few metres from the Chain Bridge and close to all attractions or transportation.

“Excellent value for money”
We stayed in a triple room at the Starlight Suiten Hotel in December 2007 and found it to be excellent value for money. The hotel was very centrally located, clean, modern and reasonably priced. Our suite was large, as we had a separate lounge in addition to the triple room. The staff were warm, friendly and helpful. We would not hesitate to stay here again.
“Best location good value for money”
This hotel is a gem. We had a room on the 7th floor which was actually a suite with a lounge area, microwave and a very well stocked mini bar!It's a good idea to email in advance and request a 7th floor room if you can. It had it's own balcony and sun loungers. It was a pity we visited in March when it was cold and rainy. The position is perfect - just around the corner from all of the swanky, expensive 5 star hotels. The staff all spoke really good English and were very helpful. I would definately stay there again.

“Ideal Position”
Really enjoyed first visit to Budapest. Hotel in ideal position near river and handy for shops and main tourist attractions. Rooms really spacious. Only downsides were shortage of pillows only 2 per room and minibar prices. But other than that would definitely use this hotel again.
“One of the best hotel for your money”
Great location - just a short walk to the corner overlooks the magnificent view of Castle Hill in Buda, right next to Danube river, to Vaci Utca where restaurants, shops are. Our room where 3 of us shared is HUGE with a big living room and kitchen and our bedroom where a queen bed and a twin bed are and bathroom are equally huge. Continental breakfast is great with good breads and croissant, different juices, fresh fruits, coffee and tea. We have two complains though - you have to pay 13 euro which is expensive for an additional eggs and ham and cut fruits AND we had to ask for our shampoo in our room as they do NOT automatically provide in the bathrooms. We had two other friends with us who shared another room and had to ask for shampoo as well. But if you ask, they will give. Staff are great!!! Budapest is clean with well organize transport, airport shuttle that takes you to and from your hotel and a 24 hour hop in - hop out sightseeing tours.
