“Good hotel for stay in Budapest”
The Radisson in our opinion , was a good hotel , close to main turistic sites , good service . We have no problems in our stay in April.
“Central location!”
Staff spoke goog English and very helpful. IMPORTANT AS english not spoken well in many places in BUDAPEST. Rooms are modern and in great shape. Plus centrally located to everything!
“Western quality Hotel with great coffee house.”
This hotel was quite modern and clean. The room was spacious and the bathroom well equiped with tub and shower. A great coffee house was located in the hotel. Within walking distance of the main train station. Doormen always stationed at the front of the hotel. It was quite nice.
“Good hotel,Surroundings poor”
The hotel itself was impressive. The staff were reasonably friendly but we were directed to tours which we did not feel were the best and which did not give us the best advantage of our Budapest card. The Olive Restaurant was good but we were disappointed with the breakfasts. We found it hard to get fresh milk and English tea in our rooms. The main disatisfaction was the environment outside the hotel. There was graffiti everywhere, vagrants on benches and a generally down and out feel to the area. I would stress however that we had a wonderful time and the hotel was generally very good.
“A solid Radisson, offering a good location”
This hotel offers almost all the basics in a good-sized double room. (I was surprised not to find an iron.) I found the front desk clerk who handled our check-in and check-out to be somewhat austere, but another clerk was quite helpful with information that my wife and I requested. The location is quite good: easy access to two of the three metro lines and within relatively easy walking distance to some of the most important tourist attractions. For the price, the breakfast is just average, but many cheaper possibilities are not far from the hotel's entrance.
“Good hotel for the price”
The Radisson Beke was in a great location for walking to all of Budapest's sights. The hotel was very nice. We did request a non-smoking room and even though the room was labeled as non-smoking, it had clearly been a smoking room once upon a time. That aside, we would definitely stay at the Radisson again.
“Quite a Nice Place.”
Although the Radisson is in an old part of Budapest and the outside of the hotel looks old in appearance, but the inside was a good old world, the king bed was very comfortable and clean, meals in the downstairs cafe were very nice and the staff most co-operative and nice.
“Well located but poor dining.”
Very well located though surroundings can seem a bit tatty with graffiti everywhere. Disappointing breakfasts with mediocre selection and poor quality cooking - they offer you a breakfast discount for the entire stay if booked on arrival - buyer beware. Also when asked for an airport taxi they booked a private company which costs 50% more than the airports franchised Zona operator. In short OK but eat elsewhere - plenty of decent restaurants near Opera and Basilica.
“Perfectly Positioned for Seeing Budapest”
The Radisson SAS Beke being near the train station and major attractions, made it an ideal base from which to explore Budapest.
“Nice Hotel ...”
The Radisson is well located if you don't want to be right in the thick of things but fancy a good walk around the city in order to get to some of the sights. The staff were reasonably helpful but could've been more so, the hotel taxi's as they always are were too expensive but a short walk down the road and you can find standard cabs. Overall nice place but next time will prob stay somewhere nearer Vaci Utca.
