“A perfect hotel in Budapest.”
Excellent location. Friendly, helpful staff. Very comfortable and lovely decor. Can't go wrong unless you prefer something more modern aesthetically.
“Exceeded expectations”
Was in Budapest for a long weekend and Le Meridien was such a treat! Excellent location, friendly and professional service. Extremely enjoyable time!
“Proper 5* hotel in the epicentre of Budapest”
Proper 5* hotel with traditionally styled furniture and well maintained rooms, very comfy bed and separate bath and shower (big plus in my book!). We prefer contemporary rather than traditional but booked this in a great deal with Expedia and very pleased we did. The hotel is right in the epicentre of Budapest - every road leads to this square!
“Fantastic staff”
The hotel staff is very helpful and absolutely lovely. We had an incident when my mate's wallet was lost outside the hotel, but they helped us search for it, went to the restaurant that we had dinner at the day after, helped calling all the banks and were very sympathetic. Absolutely fantastic people at the reception.
“A little bit of luxury”
Excellent location - right on the shopping street and close to transport links and walkable to main attractions. Very pleasent and helpful staff and efficient room and hotel service. Breakfast options and hotel restaurant delightful. Great hotel experience...
“I would definitely return terrific luxury hotel - but charging for wireless internet is a bit cheap.”
From the minute we dropped onto the bed to recover from a long flight, I knew this was a luxurious hotel. The room and the bathroom were spacious, comfortable, and beautifully appointed, as you would expect for the price. The staff were friendly and very helpful. The location was convenient for sightseeing as we were able to walk to most sites or take the Metro from the square outside the front door. The breakfast is very good, but more reasonably priced breakfasts are available in the squares around the corner. My only negative comment is that Le Meridien was the most expensive hotel on our 5-week trip of Eastern Europe and the only one to charge extra for wireless internet.
“Great location, beautiful hotel”
Ten days in Romania and Hungary and this was definitely a great way to start the trip. Beautiful hotel, great ammenities, nice spa area...heated bathroom floors, can't be beat.
“An Overall Pleasant Experience at a very good Value”
I could not have asked for more. The interior is magnificent, more like a museum, staff very courteous and fluent in English and location is at a stone throws of the Castle district all at a good price.
“Well located luxury in Budapest”
This hotel has outstanding service with bellman at the ready and all the staff at the desk ready to help you with your every need. There is a wonderful Coffee Heaven just around the corner and a good exchange for currency behind the hotel next door. There are excellent restaurants Dio and Mokka just across the square. The Hop On Hop Off buses start in front of the hotel.
“A great hotel in a great location!”
The hotel has very nice accommodations and a staff that was courteous and helpful. It was located in the heart of a restaurant and shopping square which also had crafts booths, tasty food booths and local wines. We were able to walk to all the sites. We were very pleased with our whole Expedia experience from the booking to the hotel.
