“We were treated like family”
This hotel is surrounded by nice restaurants, and is quite convenient to Bristol, Virginia or Bristol Tennessee, as well as Abingdon, Virginia. We found employees to be extremely friendly and helpful. This was a most enjoyable stay, and we certainly will choose Holiday Inn when traveling in this area.

“Known for its banquet services”
The restraurant was not what I expected however there are several places to eat within walking distance of the hotel. This hotel is known for its banquet facilities and they do an awesome job with the food for these events however the restraurant was located in the hotel bar and the menu was very limited. Other than this I enjoyed my stay.

My son and his new wife were very pleased with the quality of the rooms and the comfort of the beds. and so were we. Thank you for a very pleasant stay. We will remember this one and come back whenever in the area.
“One Night Stay”
This hotel was clean and the employees friendly. They lobby and rooms are smaller than the Holiday Inns I have stayed at recently, maybe because it is not an "express" but a "suites". It had the feel of an older hotel that had been remodeled. It was very clean. I was glad to see that it was dog friendly. They even have treats for your dog in the lobby.

This hotel is under remodel currently. I would ask for a discount as there is no furniture in lobby and no morning coffee available at this time.
“Like sleeping in a tent next to the freeway......”
The condition of the hotel, room & staff was very good. The problem was the traffic noise from the freeway made it impossible to sleep. No matter how good a motel is if you cannot sleep because of noise what good is it........
“Totally unsatisfactory. No redeeming qualities.”
Traveling with 3 children, we chose this hotel as it had an on-site restaurant, room service, pool and hot tub. First, we had to have the key cards issued twice as they wouldn't work. At dinner time, the restaurant had no wait staff. The manager advised that there was only one person available and that they were "working in banquet". Therefore, we were obligated to go off-site w/3 tired children to wait 30 minutes for a restaurant table. Additionally, the hot tub wasn't working and the pool so frigid the children couldn't swim. When we tried to exit the pool area, the key cards (set #2) still didn't work. We'd have been left outside with no way of contacting anyone for assistance if another individual hadn't entered the pool area just as we were trying to leave. The bathroom was tiny and the door swung inward. When the door opened it nearly hit the toilet . The bed linens rustled excessively each time you moved, creating constant noise throughout the night. The room was marginally clean; there was a line of dust around the perimeter and under the furniture. We've marked this hotel as totally unsatisfactory,.
