“Good hotel”

The hotel was very well maintained and the staff was very courteous. The only negative was that the parking was paid and the wake up call that i had set for 6 am came at 7 am!

“Cheery spot in Bridgeport”

The hotel, including the staff, were great. I traveled there for work with my husband and 2-year old, and they roamed around the lobby and at dinner at the restaurant while I was at meetings. The room was nice too. I was hoping that being in downtown Bridgeport would mean there were things to do nearby, but it is a bit dicey. That being said, I had a working dinner at Two Boots Pizza and it was great. Not sure if the short walk there (we drove) would be safe at night though.

“Extremely satidfied”

Stayed at the HI Express last weekend (7/11-12) and had a great experience. The staff was very pleasant and accomodating. The room was immaculate (now granted the place just opened, you'd hope it would be in super shape, and it was). The breakfast buffet was excellent, plus they tended to it meticulously, unlike other places where after 20 or so people, the place looks like a barn. Only issue had nothing to do with the hotel itself, but there was a lacrosse tournament in town and the place was filled with kids (and their parents who let them run wild). Again, no fault of the hotel.

“great for business travelers, probably for family”

Beautiful room, comfy bed, really nice people working there, free wifi, love the jar of dog biscuits in the front, -- will definitely stay there again. The only problem was the thin walls -- I could hear the guy next door talking to his wife morning and night :) good thing it wasn't something louder. Didnt' go to pool or gym or use business services.

“Friendly and convenient”

Very convenient if you are going to the ice arena. The hotel provided us with a free shuttle over to the arena and back. Nice perk.
