“Careful at check-in”

The Expedia booking stated "business double room" - hotel logged the booking as a "single room". This smacked of the hotel trying to fit the room to the price. In fairness to the reception staff it was corrected, however the hotel documentation clearly stated single room booking when and even though they had accepted a double room booking from Expedia.

“Nice Hotel, spotty service.”

I really liked the hotel, as well as the lounge attached to it. The young lady that was manning the desk in the afternoon was fairly rude, and not customer service oriented. However, the night attendant was extremely friendly and pleasant.

“Tiny room, better value elsewhere in Bremen”

Staying for one night only, however, I didn't expect to be given the room that was probably meant for the staff. Take the lift to the 4th floor walk round a complicated corridor and then down some steps to the room whicgh was right next to the cleaner's area. I probably could have reached out and touched all 4 walls from one position except for the fact that that would have meant standing on the bed. Not worth it, there are much better palces to stay in Bremen for less money.
