“Highly Recommended”

Hotel Marrol immediately became our favorite hotel in Europe. What a wonderful experience! In fact we enjoyed staying at the hotel so much that we will definitely try plan another trip to Bratislava just to be able to enjoy the hotel again. Everything was superb. The room was extremely comfortable and elegantly decorated. The hotel offered everything that a person could desire for a reasonable price (complimentary minibar, internet, gym and a wonderful breakfast buffet). The staff was extremely professional and helpful. The most enjoyable aspect of our stay at Marrol’s was the dinner in the restaurant; a meal so incredibly delicious that we cannot wait to come back. Thank you so much!

“We loved it!”

We visited this hotel during our stay in Bratislava, at the end of June 2011. This was indeed a very beautiful experience to live a few days at a hotel butique. Everything was perfect and I will use this opportunity to send special thanks to the staff at reception who helped us with a lot of patience and gave us good advices. .

“excellent location”

We pre-booked taxi via e-mail which was 500SK.Friendly welcome with offer of free drink. Good location as only a few minutes from the River Danube and 5 minutes from the Old Town.No bar in the hotel but free mini bar compensates with wine,beer and soft drinks. You can order a drink at reception at any time. Breakfast more than adequate.Staff very friendly with good English spoken.

“Perfect Hotel - the place to stay in Bratislava!”

Chose this hotel based on the good reviews and was not disappointed. Ideally located in the old town, greeted by a very friendly receptionist, offered a drink by the fire, the bellboy was always on hand & showed us to our room and explained how the tv, heating, computer worked etc. Free mini bar was a lovely gesture and there were always little pastries & fruit available in reception. Room was spotlessly clean with good amenities. Only very minor complaint was that the towels could have been larger & fluffier! Breakfast in the lovely dining room was perfect. Cannot recommend this hotel highly enough,

“Romantic couple cocooning”

We spent only one night at the hotel and were fully satisfied with overall high standard: personnel, room and breakfast/restaurant. It is not for budget travelers but I would definitely recommend it for couples who want to treat themselves and spend for example charming weekend in a homely and romantic place perfect for a bit of couple cocooning. The advantage is also hotels location very close to the center with nice restaurants, bars and cultural activities.

“Mr”

Marrol's is a superb boutique hotel that does nearly everything right. It has a top-quality attitude to service that makes guests feel valued and welcome. Breakfasts are among the best we have experienced - complete with bubbly! Standard rooms have a huge (and very comfortable) bed and very high quality TV/satellite system and Bose Wave radio, PLUS a computer in every room (and free broadband if you have your own) and a minibar with free access daily (to a very limited stock!). My only disappointment was with the shower in an otherwise well-fited bathroom - the head was mounted much too low for a 6ft man and the bath shower screen was both too low and too short, resulting in water spraying too easily over the floor. [NB I had asked for a separate shower, but they aren't available (except in single rooms).] My wife also felt that the bath towels were too thin and small. There is a lovely 'summer terrace', in the inner well of the building and a good-looking spa - which is only available for (bookable) private use. Overall, we had a very relaxing break and would recommend the hotel to anyone seeking comfort and a warm welcome.

“Will be comming back”

The Hotel has great charm. The staff was welcoming, helpful and very polite, even serving us a glass of cool water and some small cookies while we waited for the receptionist to finish checking in another visitor. The room was comfortable and well appointed and the breakfast was wonderful. Everything in the old town portion of Bratislava was within walking distance. We had a great time during our stay and will be returning for another stay at Marrol's. We have already recommended Marrol's to our friends.

“Best part of visit to Bratislava”

Although it has small sized rooms, hotel Marrols is definitely one of the best hotels I have stayed at regarding price. For the price, you get amenities of much more expensive hotels. COmplimentary minibar is great, computer in room came in very handy, and the staff was very courteous. If you have to go to Bratislava, stay at this hotel, you won`t regret it.

“A techno-geeks heaven”

This centrally-located hotel in Bratislava comes with everything a techno-geek could want. Yes, there is a PC in every room with free broadband Internet access. And free satelite TV, and even a Bose table radio. How about a chess set on the table in the room. And a free mini-bar (including beer and wine). The breakfast buffet has everything you might expect (and then some).
