“Very good as for Slovakia standard.”

Pretty good to stay for couple of nights. Not having ATM machines that may cause some problems in getting cash.

“Comfort, service - and the location is not bad”

City Hotel Bratislava was a lucky choice for us on a rail journey through Central Europe. The room and appointments were equivalent to a higher priced hotel and the attitude of the service staff was excellent. Perks included an excellent breakfast buffet and free email service. There were good neighborhood restaurants and the historic center was a short tram ride away. Great value!

“Best choice for the price”

Staff was friendly, room was comfortable and well appointed (for a 3+ star), and breakfast buffet was generous. Convenient tram service to old town. Great rest break in a strenuous train trip across Central Europe. Couldn't do better for the price.

“Better than it used to be”

Unfortunately used by stag groups but otherwise a very nice *** hotel, especially if you choose the business room with free internet. It would be good if they had room service though, and taxis to the centre, although now fixed price, can quickly mount up. But it's clean, efficient, good food in the bar, and way better than it used to be.

“Good hotel in poor location”

This is a very nice hotel that is convenient to the airport. In a neighborhood of apartment buildings with no restaurants or business services close by. Great room and guest services but the funniest little bathroom. Would recommend this hotel to business travelers. Better bargains for leisure travelers.

“Tired but rejuvenating”

The first impression is nice. Courteous, helpful staff, nice lobby and reception. The rooms are tired and need some rejuvenation. I am sure this will be happening in the coming seasons.

“Bad accommodation but excellent food!”

If you like the retro 70s styling this place is for you - otherwise avoid. Not great location but local transport very cheap and convenient. The hotel restaurant is superb: food, service & waitresses!

“mass appeal”

Not the quaint hotel, geared towards busloads and Eastern Europeans pinning for the strip club located above the lobby.
