Room was a bit small, not enough towels or soaps. Pillows were a joke, they should have been in the bin, used so many times they were flat, internet was not good at all. Lifts didn’t work .

Great location but dingy room. The location was ideal and nice to have tables outside we could use for snacks and a glass of wine. Our room saw how small and dingy. We asked about an upgrade but were told we actually had a "comfort room". The toilet seat lid was broken, the hand held shower not screwed properly so falls off and sprays throughout bathroom. We advised the staff and toilet seat was fixed but not shower. There was a mirror in the room in terrible condition, only accommodations among 5 on our France/Spain trip that did not offer coffee. Some staff were helpful, providing cutlery and glasses so we could enjoy their tables outside. Some staff at the front desk seemed unknowledgeable and disinterested. The room was cleaned daily but they did not replace glasses; when we asked for new glasses, we were told they do not have any. Finally the clerk offered to wash the glasses.

A fantastic hotel with brilliant members of staff to support you during your stay. A fab breakfast, but whilst not included in the overnight rate the €12 is v good value. Only drawback was a poor WiFi connection, but I was able to use mobile data. Very centrally located for the team and major sights. Some brilliant bars for drinks and food v close to hotel. I’d definitely go back.

This hotel is centrally located to everything in old town Bordeaux, including nice restaurants. However, the rooms are very, very small and very very basic. No place to sit or put luggage. Would not stay for more than one night, which is what we did.

Basic but all you need for a base to explore gorgeous Bordeaux. An absolute perfect spot, step outside and right into shops, restaurants, bars, everything! Very quiet room, we didnt hear anything inside or out. Bathroom good size, lots of black mould spots in the shower which had great (strong!) water pressure. No air-conditioning made it pretty stuffy but the fan really helped. Would stay again.

Perfectly Fine!
Lovely hotel, excellent location… Breakfast, basic continental, good value. As a base to explore Bordeaux it was very good. Clean and tidy, though the shower and en-suite bathroom would benefit from a renovation. 8/10… 😎

Great hotel right where life in the city begins. Friendly staff. Room was as good as you could expect in a place with strong stone walls, and a bit limited on outlets for the same reason. Furniture could be a bit more modern. Overall clean. Parking nearby at Park Clemenceau.

A very nice "old property" in an area of Bordeaux converted into pedestrian use only. In fact, it is tough to get to since GPS doesn't recognize that it IS in such an area. I had to walk to the hotel from a few blocks away to see how I actually get there. They have a convenient parking arrangement at a local garage for about 15Euro for 24 hours which works well. The breakfast could not have been nicer. All in all, a very interesting place!

Lovely hotel in a great city
Lovely central hotel, friendly staff and very clean. Room was small as expected for city centre, bathroom tiny and shower not fastened to the wall. No tea and coffee facilities. But overall good hotel and would stay again as Bordeaux is a fabulous city.

The front desk staff was very friendly, it seems a family owned property. The room was clean and nice, but could be better because we booked the best unit but they assigned a room much smaller. We only stayed for one night, so we didn't request to change or raise the issue. Overall, the location was good, the room has a good AC and the bathroom was nice. Not sure if we will stay again because it no way to be sure which room will be given. A common problem with hotels in France.

Great for exploring the city
Fantastic location, short walk to everything you want to see & do. Lovely restaurants and bars very near by. Staff are great, welcoming and very friendly and helpful. Room lovely and although not sound proof, street below not too loud! Wild stay again, highly recommended

We were a little disappointed with our stay. The wall between our room and the one next door was incredibly thin and so was quite noisy. The air conditioning does not work effectively. We had a restless night's sleep because of this. The shower room is in desperate need to renovation or at least a deep clean. There was black mould on the ceiling and wall. The shower room was also quite grubby.

A lovely little hotel in a fabulous location for exploring Bordeaux. The rooms were comfortable and clean and the service unobtrusive. We’ll definitely book again when we revisit Bordeaux.
