This hotel is very modern and is in a good location opposite the train station. It's a 10 minute walk into the centre of bologna .
The family room was spacious and very clean . Children are welcomed at the hotel and can get snacks delivered to the room at any point , free of charge.
The beautiful young woman at the front desk was very helpful and spoke wonderful english. When we asked her for the name of a restaurant (on a Sunday when many were closed) if you had only 1 night to spend in Bologna, she made a fantastic suggestion. The bed was a king that was firm and comfortable. Breakfast buffet was ok. Good value for the price.
I have over the past ten years or so stayed at many of Bologna's best known hotels- but I enjoyed this one the best. The staff are, in my experience helpful, friendly and unflappable. You only notice them when you need them- the sign of really good staff. Beds and rooms are comfortable- although my room lacked an arm chair- which is why it failed to achieve 5 for facilities. That5 it has no dining room, apart from a breakfast room does not matter as there are so many good restaurants nearby, and anyway, the quality of their breakfasts is superb. I have never had a cooked breakfast in Italy to equal this. All the usual Italian breakfast ingredients plus a superb cooked choice- including bacon eggs- including scrambled to perfection.

Hotel Internazionale is located in the heart of the city, in a historic building on Via Indipendenza , making it one of …More
We were there for a convention. They are centrally located within easy walking distance to many marvelous restaurants, bars and sights. The hotel is a grand hotel, very classy. The staff was extremely accommodating when we wanted to change our room. The city is crazy to manage with a car, which we had. They were very helpful in getting us to and from the hotel.
"Ideal Location, Brilliant Staff, Pleasant Hotel."
The hotel is ideally located by the main railway station which means that access to Florence, Pisa, Rome, Napoli and others Italian cities is very easy. Also, the walk to the historical part of Bologna is just a short one - approximately 8 minutes. Bus connections (including local buses) from the hotel is excellent. The bus that serves the airport is frequent, cheap (six Euros) and stops at the main station opposite the hotel, a short walk of just a few minutes. Even though the hotel is on a main road, sound insulation is very good, so once inside, the place is very quiet.
No concerns and you can't really go wrong with Hotel Una. Always my first choice hotel chain when I visit Italy. An excellent hotel overall.
