"My family stayed at the Fonte del Benessere Resort for five nights. The hotel is excellent, and we would have awarded 5 stars but for the the really bad dinner we experienced. One night we decided to eat dinner in the dining room. The service was excellent however the food was genuinely bad. Bland pasta dishes, under cooked food. "The hotel was dark, dreary with small, dark rooms, and few amenities. The walls were paper thin and you could hear children screaming in the halls and in the courtyard. The breathtaking scenery that had been promised could not be seen from the rooms. A change in room was no better. "This is an excellent hotel from rooms to staff to location. The Michelin star restaurant on-site makes it wonderful. - Lunch: The service at the other restaurant on property with different staff is not always on top of things. (Some of the Michelin staff start their day here, and they are amazing.) - Breakfast buffet is fabulous. Two points to note: - pillows are standard stiff foam and no options are available. Consider bringing your own. - fitness room. Noted in website, but unavailable. If you’re looking for a getaway, Aquapetra should be on your list."
