I stayed for 1 night whilst away for work. A really tranquil and pleasant property, and the host was just lovely. The whole place was squeaky clean, the bed super-comfortable and the homemade breakfast was amazing. Will definitely stay again when working in the area.

I was only there for one night and arrived in the evening but everything was just as it should be and tge breakfast was excellent. Thoroughly recommend .

I’m very disappointed with this review. As I explained I was at the doctors and therefore couldn’t have my phone on. As you didn’t specify an arrival time how was I to know what time you would arrive at.

Short stay
The farm was slightly hard to find but when we did find it we were pleased with what we got. The lady that ran the place was very pleasant and the home baking at breakfast was a pleasant surprise.

Carmel & John we’re amazing hosts. They went above and beyond even going as far as dropping us to the wedding we were attending in Birr. They also allowed us to stay later the following day as we were attending a “Day 2” of the wedding

Wedding Guests!
We were staying for one night for a wedding and Carmel was really welcoming and allowed us to linger and do some posh clothes ironing! Breakfast excellent and overall experience as well.

I loved everything about this little treasure. The hosts, Carmel and John, were incredibly accommodating. I particularly liked Carmel's artistic nature - very creative in the garden. It was so uplifting experiencing a wonderful homemade breakfast to the sheer beauty of the surroundings, married to Carmel's creativity.

Very Friendly
Carmel is very friendly and makes you feel at home. I had a free upgrade as nobody was in the en suite room. Comfortable with good breakfast.

Stayed here while attending a friends wedding nearby. Early check in accommodated. Clean rooms, great breakfast. Overall, lovely host and great value!

Great Stay on a Working Farm
The Ring Farmhouse was delightful! Very close to the town of Birr, which has a great castle and town. Being on a farm was very peaceful. The room was a former bedroom with a bath in the corner, both a bit small but really ok! Karma, the owner, was lovely and her breakfast was excellent. We would highly recommend this B & B.

Lovely rural setting
Carmel very accommodating & friendly. Hearty breakfast with tea/coffee making facilities in the room. About 5 minutes drive from the town of Birr which wasn't an issue. Highly recommended!

Beautiful Farm & Lovely rooms!
Breakfast was So Good! Everything delicious. The evening was spent in a cosy sunroom. I loved to look out and see the cattle on a good farm.

Myself and my brother stayed here for a night and found it really nice. Loved the fire and very comfy rooms. We didn't stay for breakfast, so can't comment on that, but overall we very much enjoyed our stay. VERY good value for money. Will definitely come back here next year.

A wonderful 4-night stay. Just about the centre of Ireland; so easy access to everywhere. Peaceful and quiet. Lovely room. Great breakfasts with lots of choice. Wish we could have stayed longer.
