"Stayed fir 3 nights. With 10 adults. Lovley big house. Plently of room Comfortable beds. Some paintwork a.bit.shabby which was a shame. Only down side was it stated a clockroom i thought that.meant a downstairs toilet but it was just a place eto hang coats. This was difficult as some of the party was eldery and found the stairs difficult to navigate, butmon the whole we had a great.time."

"We stayed here for a short break with the family. We were greeted with a lovely welcome pack from the owners and was really impressed with the lodge. Its location was perfect for places to visit, we went to Bamburgh castle, Berwick, Alnwick gardens and Holy Island in the time we stayed. The accommodation was spacious, clean and warm on arrival, with the log burner as a welcome extra. We would definitely recommend for a family getaway and would stay again in the future."

"Host was extremely helpful leading up to our stay and provided lots of useful information. It was next to another shepheard’s but you still had plenty of privacy. "We recently stayed at May Cottage and it was just what we needed. The cottage is lovely and much bigger than we anticipated, especially the bedrooms - they’re a really big! Kitchen has everything you need and even though we had taken hand wash and washing up liquid etc, it was all provided. Even dishwasher tablets! The views from the garden are exceptional and it was very quiet. We loved sitting watching the families of swallows flying in and out of their nests and listening their babies...
