“Great hotel - close to everything”
We really enjoyed our stay here. The Swiss-American man working at reception was about the friendliest hotel staff member we've ever encountered. We were immediately offered a discount card for surrounding attractions and a free pass for the bus as well as lots of information. There is a lounge where we could have tea or Nespresso coffees any time. Our room was Eiger-facing with a balcony and beautiful view. Probably the only complaint is that the sun really streams in through the window of the room, making it quite warm during the day, though this is probably an advantage in the winter when it's really cold. There is a great breakfast spread and the hotel is well-located, just steps from the train platform.
“Bernerhof Hotel in Grindelwald”
A quiet and friendly hotel, situated very close to the skibus for access to the lifts, and to the train station. We stayed in a spacious room on the 5th floor with a balcony and a superb view. Fantastic storage space in the room. Breakfast was adequate and the service was excellent. The hotel has no restaurant for dinner, but within walking distance of many restaurants and other hotels.
