"It's our third time there and as always John and Barbara are great hosts. For those with pets please be careful as the cabin is near a roadway. Early on our second day, our Yorkies accidentally got out and headed for that road during the morning traffic. One made it back and the other didn't make it. The driver who hit her stopped and expressed her grief that she hit our dog. A gentleman who witnessed it, stopped the traffic and retrieved our dog (who had died instantly on impact). It wasn't the lady's fault; it was ours for losing control of the dogs. John and Barbara were kind enough to help us find a Vet to take care of our deceased Yorkie. Please be very, very careful if you bring pets. They don't know any better and it's a new place for them to explore, but they need strict control or a tragedy like ours can happen. The rest of the week went much better as we processed our grief and we enjoyed the remainder of our stay with our other Yorkie. Thanks again to our hosts."
