At 11:00pm the smoke detector started going off every 2 minutes. We called the front desk but it was answered by an automatic system that only offers entering the extension for the person you want to call. I had no idea what the front desk extension was. The only way we could get to sleep was when my husband brought it out to our car wrapped in a pillow. In the morning it was no longer going off. It appeared to be one of those units that you replace the whole unit not just slip in a new battery. As far as the room goes. It was worth $100 and that is what I paid. There were several items kicked under the edge of the bed.

Beautiful ocean view. Wonderful front desk staff especially Sam. Great restaurant next door. Face Rock right across the street. Loved the circle art in the sand on the beach.

Great room on the second floor with amazing sunset view! Comfortable, clean, convenient ~ nice bfast. Particularly pleasant during what felt like "low season" - not crowded, it was quiet and peaceful.

Setting and view were very nice. The room is very outdated and needs to be renovated. The room did not have a refrigerator, a desk and chair, or a chair just for sitting, improper lighting, the bathroom sink was very slow draining - on the verge of stopping and hot water was very slow. These issues took away from what the staff attempted to be outstanding

Room was nice. Wish they had better TV options. Traveling with toddlers at the rainy Oregon coast almost needs a DVD player or streaming options. Parking was hard with toddlers as well. You had to park across the street at a restaurant and walk back to the room. Overall, I’d recommend it. View of the ocean was excellent!

We stayed in an oceanfront room, which I recommend. Truly amazing views, right on the beach. Beds were comfy and offered a bar fridge and microwave. We didn't try the breakfast, because the write-up of the offering didn't sound appealing to us. The staff were good though.

The room was very grungy and there was black mold in the sliding door track. They could do better for sure. Breakfast was Ok. Said they had granola,but it was granola bars. Won't stay there again.

A wonderful hotel with great ocean views from every room, patio, or deck. Ask for an upper room for the best views. Its nice to open the sliding door and hear the ocean. Views from each room is as good as it gets. Very clean room (119) clean hotel and clean property. We'll be returning.

This our 2nd time staying here parking easy, nice pool especially for kids since each end is 3 feet deep with center 5 feet and easy walk to the beach just a few more stairs than last time. Room is nice and large. Beds are softer than last time could replace them. TV channels not good either but this is not place to go watch TV. The breakfast is not so good pretty much a bagel and yogurt and cereal.

We were in the property not on the beach. Very dated rooms. However, the morning walk on the beach was outstanding. This area is definitely a great stop.

The path down to the beach was right across the street (be prepared for a lot of stairs) and the beach was wonderful and walkable. The staff was very kind and the hot tube was the perfect end to the day.
