“Amazing hotel, amazing building, amazing staff!”

My girlfriend and I loved the hotel. We were treated like royalty and would absolutely visit the hotel again. I will be looking at Kimton hotels the next time I travel. We were able to walk to the harbor in about 10 minutes. The interior of the building and the room itself are incredible. We liked the styling so much we will take some cues when designing our master bedroom. The staff was very knowledgable and polite. I would reccomend this hotel to anyone who is looking for a glamorous getaway.

“Service was second to none. Very attentive staff. Would not think of staying anywhere else.”

Recently renovated hotel with exceptional staff to attend to your every need. I stayed one night and wished it would never end. Overnight parking on the pricey side. Restaurant food/portions were ok...not as nice as the hotel itself, but many other places to eat within walking distance. Overall, a very nice hotel for the money, I would certainly return for future stays near the Inner Harbor.

“all class and no pretense”

I never write product or site reviews. In this case, it's impossible not to say what amazing good luck I had in discovering the Monaco just weeks after it opened. The renovation of the 2nd oldest building in Baltimore is stunning: a brilliant combination of old world design and spectacular decor. The staff couldn't have been more generous or thoughtful--or down to earth. Nothing stuffy, everything top class. We were completely at ease in every way.

“Pet Friendly and Convenient”

The Hotel Monaco is only a two block walk to the Inner Harbor and Camden Yards. Perfect if you are headed to an event. The rooms are very comfortable and modern. There is a complimentary happy hour each day from 4-6pm. The hotel is pet friendly allowing pets of any size or type, it is typical to see dogs traveling on the elevator so if that is not for you this might not be your place. For pet owners there is a dog park one block away and the hotel arranges pet happy hours.

“Want to try each of the Hotels Monaco”

Gorgeous building and excellent, courteous and helpful staff. Sadly, I was in town to attend a meeting at another site and did not get to revel in all of the amenities at the hotel as I would have liked. Nonetheless, the Monaco was a treat and I truly would like to visit all of the Kimpton properties. They each have a different story to tell.

“oozing with style”

It started out rocky. The front desk booked me in a room that was already occupied. Luckily everyone was decent that was in the already occupied room. I was quickly apologized to, given a top floor room and a coupon for a continental breakfast (fruit bowl and danish). After that it was a pleasant stay. The decor was amazing. The shower door was a bit to be desired since there really wasn't one. A person less stable on their feet may slip and fall from the sprayed water on the tiled floor. A hazard I think should be corrected. Otherwise it was a good stay.

“Great Hotel”

A little nervous at first since we got this terrific Expedia deal and couldn't believe the price. Checked it out on line and it lived up to every expectation. Beautiful modern hotel in an old antique-like building. Sculptured exteriors, beautiful lobby chandeliers, old fashioned elevators, etc. This is what it would have looked like in the olden days. But rooms were modern, with great bathrobes, zebra and leopard! Great restaurant attached (B&O) and a wonderful wine reception every nite. Would go back in a minute.

Absolutely recommend. New hotel with excellent service. Early evening wine reception was a nice touch. Close to the Inner Harbor.
