“Pictures and location description a bit deceptive”

Overall the hotel was just okay. There are several things that go unmentioned such as: - the fact that all the deluxe rooms are on the opposite side of the road from the beach, so guests must cross the street to get to the main hotel. - the hotel does not have any complementary water sports - the beach isn't anything special and actually not very conducive to swiming / snorkelling etc. - the staff at the bar on the beach had to be sought after to place orders while lounging at the pool. Overall okay value for money. I would consider another option if I return to Bali.

The staff are what makes this hotel what it is the kids club is good and very friendly. The rooms are bland and not as described by expedia the food was expensive and not of a high standard. Wont be going back

“Be warned: this is NOT a beach front hotel!!”

This is what the Novotel Tanjung Benoa quotes on its website: "Novotel Bali Benoa is located on the water front in Nusa Dua, overlooking the golden sands of Tanjung Benoa beach" So when you turn up, get checked in at the main building and then are promptly turned around and told to go back out the main entrance, across the main Tanjung Benoa road to find your room you can imagine how disappointed we were. At a guess over 75% of the rooms are located on the separate property across the road. There is no reference to this on any of Novotel's promotional material (and I have double checked this since being back). As such you have to cross the road each time you want to use the main hotel facilities and get to the beach. And if you have children like us, then crossing a main road is obviously even less appealing. Management refused to do anything about moving us. Extremely disappointing and we will never, ever, stay in a Novotel run hotel again.
