“Lovely Hotel - not a brilliant location”
Excellent hotel - with very friendly and helpful staff. Clean and comfortable hotel with a good restaurant to boot. The only reservation I have is its location; it is not in a very nice setting - not at all in a beautiful veronese countryside and there is not much in the town apart from a couple of trattorias - which are very friendly and have good food! It is approx. 10 miles from Verona and it costs approx 20 - 25 Euros by taxi one way although there is a bus that costs E1.80 per person one way - but they don't run too frequently and the last bus is at 2040hours. I would say that this is mopre of a business hotel rather than a tourist one. Having said that due to the helpfulness of the staff and condition of the hotel I would quite happily go back and stay there.
“Beautiful hotel”
If you travel by car, this is an excellent hotel! Nice swimming pool, great food...
“Great service, value, environment, and cuisine. Unmatched with neighborhood but who cares”
True four star hotel. Located in a village outside Verona with relatively easy access to highways. Great value through expedia. Great room. Fine italian cuisine (needed as there are no restaurants around). Typical good breakfast buffet. Neighborhood is an Italian village (not of the charming type). But it feels safe and it works for tourists that need somewhere to come back at night.
“Excellent Hotel”
Very comfortable and relaxed modern hotel. Restaurant within the hotel was excellent, shown by the number of local Italians who were also using it. Certainly the best meals we had within Verona. Hotel about 20 minutes south of Verona so car recommended, but parking and access to historic city very good.
“Great location to explore from.”
Staff not over enthusiastic,espescially in restaurant and bar areas.However,clean comfortable rooms,lovely pool/gym and gardens,with a wonderful breakfast buffet to start the day.Ideal location to visit and tour from.Small restaurants/bars within walking distance.
“Mostly for business users”
Beautifully appointed hotel, a short drive out of Verona (if you can find your way out of Verona). Lovely restaurant but not suitable for everyday dining. Hotel mainly caters for conference delegates - service and restaurant is therefore geared to business users.
“Good hotel, but...”
The hotel itself is very good, but its location doesn't do it justice. A car is essential and it is difficult to find at first. The setting has nothing to recommend it, except that it is quiet. The restaurant was closed for a holiday, which wasn't mentioned on the website. Very good value, but would I stay there again? Yes, but..
“Not Great but Not Bad”
They could use some better pillows and the family room for 4 was stretching it. The room was big but would be more comfortable for 3 people.(Kids over 12). The walls were very thin in the hotel. I could hear the neighbors alarm clock go off in the morning and it woke me up. Not alot to do around the hotel and we had a car to go to Verona and can do Pauda and Venice in a day. We stayed here because we could not get a hotel in Venice. The hotel messed up our bill upon checking out and we didn't know until we got home.
