"This inn is a quaint gem just 1/2 hr from LST airport. We stayed there the night before leaving Tasmania. Sue greeted us with a smile and a made us feel welcome fight from the start with a cup of tea and scones. "Lovely styled cottage .Loved that the heating was on & we had a lovely cheese platter to welcome us. We didn’t use the outside bath as it was a trifle cold in March. Ross is a great town to visit with lots of history. We reached in the evening and initially considered eating out but decided to stay in after seeing how well equipped the cottage was with all manner of creature comforts. The Dry Cottage comprises just one room with an ensuite bathroom, but thanks to the clever optimisation of space, the room fits a bed, two sofas and a TV, a lounge area, a dining table, a kitchen area with a dishwasher and fridge, and even a washing machine. For those who wish to cook, the kitchen includes rice, a variety of pasta, instant noodles, various condiments and equipment (even a rice cooker!) for your use. Breakfast provisions were very generous as well - a variety of bread, cereals, milk, juice, muffins, and delicious yoghurt with fresh berries. Fret not about getting bored too, as the owners have thoughtfully provided books and DVDs for your enjoyment. Was impressed as well by how the bathroom had senior friendly features like handlebars and seats. The only small downside was that the Wifi didnt work very well when we were there, but overall it was a fantastic experience. Thanks to our hosts for your warmth and hospitality!"
