Brand new visitors to LA and Disneyland (which we found to be quite different from DisneyWorld). Super glad we picked Castle Inn! You literally walk to the corner, cross the street at the crosswalk, turn right and cross a street, walk a tiny bit more, and you are at the edge of the plaza area to enter both parks. I have a knee injury and needed to minimize steps to get to where we could rent a wheelchair. (Note: It is in the plaza area, not in the park.) This worked! The room was big and quiet enough (with the expected your kids around Disney it isn’t realistic to expect total quiet). The beds were comfy, the room was clean and seamlessly re-set for us each day while we were out. It is older but the remodel must have been fairly recent. I’m sure you could get something newer if you pay a lot more but this place worked great for our family at one of the lower prices for the “within 0.5 mile range of Disney’s entrance. Reading reviews, I was a bit worried but this place does deserve its good reviews. The staff were consistently friendly and went the extra mile by allowing our adult kids to park their car there for the day.
