"Rome Condotti 29 Hotel - Great location, Spanish Steps & Exclusive shopping"
The hotel room was small but nice, only about 6 "suires" but the staff (a guy who sits at a desk) was really nice. We were close to everything, and he was able to act as our conceierge for our tour of ancient Rome and our trip to Amsterdam. Not a lot of ammeneties but we were not in the room much. Lots of shopping as soon as you step out the door, as soon as you step out you can see the Spanish Steps, and Trevi Founatain is only about a ten minute walk.

Really enjoyed our stay here. The staff were very helpful and friendly. The hotel was clean and the inclusive breakfast was good. The location meant that all the key locations were within walking distance.
We recently stayed at this hotel in two rooms - a quadruple and a double, both were on the second floor of the hotel (so up 3 flights from the building entrance). The rooms were lovely with high ceilings, tile floors, and tall windows with shutters and drapes. Nicely appointed bathrooms - quad w/ tub/shower, dbl w/ shower only. The robes & slippers were a nice and useful touch. The rooms had coffee and tea as well as a fridge stocked with free water and soft drinks - VERY welcome after hours of walking and sightseeing:-) The beds and pillows were wonderfully comfy:-) The employees were friendly and helpful - really went out of their way to help us find somewhere to buy a toss-away phone to use while there. Breakfast was delicious and had lots of variety - even eggs and bacon! The location couldn't be better in our opinion - could walk to many tourist sights, but as we had a 76-year-old grandmother with us, we did choose to take the metro to some areas, but metro was close and very convenient also. The tea room was a great place to sit together and relax in the evenings. We chose the Residenza Frattina based on other reviews, and were truly pleased with the choice! We would definitely go back:-)
La Lumiere di Piazza di Spagna is in a great location near the Spanish Steps, and centrally located to most other attractions. The room was spacious and clean, the staff were very helpful, and breakfast in the roof top breakfast room was very good. The only 'complaint' I would have was connecting to the internet. The only place I could connect was in one chair in the small lobby near the desk. We would highly recommend staying here.
