“Relaxing by the Riveria”

The hotel was great!! We had a fantastic time and the restaurant was excellent. Stefano, the hotel owner, was very helpful and attentive and made us feel very welcome. We will go back!!!

“Fantastic! would love to go back”

One of the best hotels we stayed in during our time in Italy. Service was fabulous with the staff going out of their way to make sure we enjoyed our time there. They helped us organise our day trips and showed us how to get to our next destination. Wonderful meal in the restaurant. We extended our stay as we enjoyed it so much. It was wonderful and quiet and only about 20 mins from La Spezia. Highly recommend if you want to relax and make a day trip to Cinque Terre, Portofino etc. We loved Lily - the beautiful boxer dog that meeted and greeted the guests!

“Superb hideaway with pool!”

Our host Stefano ŵas very helpful in recommending day trips, places to eat. The location of the hotel is central to everything, the breakfast is plentiful and free wi- fi too. Very relaxing stay, definitely recommend this place.

“A visit to the Cinqueterre”

The hotel is situated 15 minutes away from Lerici and the Cinqueterre area of Italy. We had awonderful time and a great holiday. The Locanda is a very good hotel. Our only problem was finding parking in Lerici. It was a bit of a struggle and we started taking taxis. This can add a little to the cost of the Holiday. However it might be difficult and even more expensive to stay in Lerici.

“Great place to wind down”

The service at this hotel was very good with the owners very attentive to your needs. The hotel looked a little tired in some areas and at the moment would not be the four star rating but that would not stop our returning. It was a wonderful place to relax as it is in a rural setting. You do need a car to get around but the driving is easy. Sitting by the pool with a drink looking out to the white marble mountains was a great way to wind down after a busy day and a dip in the pool refreshing. Breakfast was very good with plenty to choose from and nice fresh coffee made to your requirements from their coffee machine. For a special dinner, the food and service from their restaurant was excellent although a little expensive. As the dining room is very big they would do well considering a casual eating section with lower prices which would probably attract more of their guests. The hotel is about a 40 minute drive from main entry point to the Cinque Terre and their tips on how best to use your time were very useful. Overall the owners take a great pride in their business and do everything they can to try and make your experience memorable and we would return to stay when next in the area

“Great pool and service”

Although we loved the owner who was helpful and warm, and the pool was gorgeous-the rooms need to be updated from top to bottom. Breakfasts were also terrific and the central location is close to beautiful beaches, not far from Cinque Terres and other magnificent spots which are relatively off the beaten track.
