“Not Bad..”

Not a bad place to hang your hat for a couple of days. The continental breakfast left more to be desired but they did have bagels, cereal, an apple, juice and coffee. And there is a microwave and refrigerator - so the close by grocery store and their salad bar is great. Also there is a Wine and Spirits and coffee shop in the neighboring plaza.

Really liked the hot breakfast. It saved us time and money for breakfast.

“About the best you can get in Allentown”

Staff is prompt (if not overly friendly at night) and the cleaning staff is good at keeping the units clean. Room price is a bit high for an economy class business hotel but is on par with the rest in town on price. Some will be put off by the in and out at all hours by the local youth using the hotel as a party location and "questionable" loud patrions can be disturbing. Allentown area and local hotels are plagued by urban problems (about one step up from Phily).

“Airport Road Super 8”

Hotel was very crowded. Some of the guests were sleazy. One female was arguing on the phone in the lobby with her drug dealer friend about the $1500 score he made the previous night. One person was trying to scam a stay from the clerk for a lower fee, upon arrival. Room was easily accessable and comfortable. Continental breakfast was good. Very close to airport, variety of eating facillities, and shops.

“Near services business district Allentown”

OK business hotel, near food, groceries, and services including the airport. Not the best part of town, so you can expect late night disturbances from other hotel guests who have had a few too many. Fridge is nice for a hotel of this class, reasonably clean for Allentown (don't ask for much in this town). Diner just up the block is a good all night diner with quick service.

Not great service but ok and the rooms were a little dirty.

You get what you pay for. The rooms were clean, but the hallways and the rest of the hotel were a complete mess. The A/C and heat didn't work in our room. The continental breakfast was just coffee, stale bagels, stale pastries, and fruit loops. There was a loud argument going on in the room next to us for several hours, and the hotel did nothing about it even though we and other rooms called. We might consider staying here again just because it's so cheap. Don't stay here if you can afford a nicer hotel.
