“Great management and Nice accomodations”

I was pleasantly surprised how nice the hotel was designed. I just came from a Hilton Garden Inn in NJ and found the same style room at this Howard Johnson across from Dorney Park. Honestly, this Howard Johnson Inn was a better deal because we had a nice looking clean room, Hot Breakfast w/ eggs, and a POOL for prices lower than everybody else. Great Deal I say. I also bought tickets for the Park which were $10 cheaper than the Park prices. And finally, the managers, staff, and maids were extremely helpful and kind. Bring your kids to the Howard Johnson inn & Suites. It's a great vacation

“Best Hotel in Allentown”

Very nice hotel with low prices compared to others. It felt like a Hampton Inn but less costly. I must say it was the best Howard Johnson I have ever stayed at. Nice Pool, Elegant Rooms and very friendly at Check in. If you visit Allentown, YOU MUST BOOK HERE. I loved the Spa. The beds were new and the linens were very fresh. All the rooms have a microwave and Frig as well as modern decor. Water Pressure was awesome. Make sure you make a reservation because the hotel is full alot. Very upscale area and lots of dining at the hotel

“Pet Friendly without the seediness!”

The service and QUALITY of the room was excellent for the price. Unfortunately, hotels that allow pets are seedy, but this location was not like that at all! As a single female traveler, I felt safe at all times. The room was extremely small for the dog and I with only space to walk around the bed and directly to bathroom individually but it was clean, safe and quiet. Restaurants and Dunkin Donuts w/in walking distance, but all closed due to holiday. Fairly easy on/off hwy.

“Nice place”

The room was a nice place; the pool was cold however but that didn't make a difference. There is also a small jacuzzi right next to the pool, which both are inside and open until 10p Easy to find and friendly at the front desk. I definately would visit again just to go down the street to the amusement park.

I have stayed at this hotel many times. The rooms are nice and clean. The staff is nice and helpful. They are in the process of renovating the entire hotel. It is also in a great spot with lots of restaraunts very close by. I would reccomend staying here.

“Looks brand new”

The hotel looks brand new.. this is my 3rd visit and I am glad to see that they have renovated the hotel from outside and inside. The service, pool and jacuzzi was great. Free breakfast.. and lots of restaurants in the area to choose from. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

“I will book a room there again”

I was pleasantly suprised by the whole experience. The last time I booked a not so expensive hotel I was subjected to a extremely dirty room. However, this hotel was convenient to my destination, clean and the employees were pleasant.

“Awesome room, lots of space”

I was very pleased with this hotel. We usually travel with four children and it is extremely difficult to find a hotel, at this price point, to accomodate all of us. It was very clean. The rooms were very spacious. Even if we had stayed for a few days I doubt we would have felt cramped, which sometimes happens when a few people are sharing a room. It was almost like a mini suite. It is located in a very convenient spot, right down th street from Dorney Park. There are restaurants around it and grocery stores. The fridge and microwave make it easy to save money. My only complaints is that there were not enough towels in the room, and the towels that were provided were among the skimpiest I have ever seen at a hotel. Two towels for six people? Not enough, and not enough toiletries for that many people either. My other complaint is that the pool had a very strong chemical smell coming from it. The smell was so strong that it immediately stung your eyes. You could smell it out in the hallway, even with the door closed. The windows were not open to ventilate it. The breakfast provided was just okay. I would rate it a two on a scale of 1-5 but hey, it's free food, what do you expect? Overall it was a great hotel to stay at. This will definately be a first pick for next year when deciding on which hotel to stay in.

“Excellent for the Price”

The hotel was overall very clean and welcoming. Staff was excellent and had a great attitude. The location was very nice as there are many places to eat nearby and the bonus of having some of those restaurants give 10 percent off by having your key card was a great plus. Overall a great place to stay for the price.
