“Great Hotel At La Sella”
Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at La Sella The room and facilities were excellent and all the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Would definately recommend paying the extra amount for the rooms with a golf view.
“GOLF SWIM AND SPA”
This is a beautiful American-style hotel with comfortable well-appointed bedrooms. The staff are really helpful and friendly. Breakfast buffet is excellent. The hotel is located next to a golf course and has an outdoor pool. However it is very much "out of town" and for a change of restaurant for your evening meal you will need to drive into Denia or Javea which are both a few miles away. The only other negative is that we could not find any nice walks from the hotel. I do not recommend this hotel if you are travelling without a car.
“Great hotel in fantastic surroundings”
Great hotel set within beautiful surroundings bedroom had high quality bedding and furnishings bathroom large and very clean .Excellent restaurants with a variety of food for all tastes, the buffet breakfast was great everthing and more you could want!. Staff were multi-lingual, very helpful and professional . Excellent golf course set in beautiful setting.
“Lovely relaxing hotel”
Upon our arrival we were greeted with a refreshing glass of cava, which was very welcome after a long journey. The staff were excellent, and very helpful. Our experience was very favourable, and we very much enjoyed our stay there. One point I would like to make is that if you intend to use a taxi during your stay, you will find it rather expensive. There is a standing charge to get the taxi to the hotel in the first place, before adding on the fare to your destination. This worked out rather expensive for a return journey. Apart from this, we thoroughly enjoyed all other aspects of the hotel.
“An excellent hotel - even for a non-golfer!”
The family (wife and two teenagers) stopped here for four nights whilst visiting relatives in Denia. The hotel was excellent - we paid for an inclusive breakfast and the buffet was comprehensive although they could be a little more timely in providing the coffee (and subsequent refills). Free WiFi in public areas and free internet in the rooms (via cables available on loan from reception). We only ate dinner in the hotel once and there could have been a wider choice on the menu - they also could not provide any chips/fries as they equipment was not working! Other than that we would certainly stop here again and recommend the hotel to others. The rooms were large, the beds enormous and the locality excellent - as long as you have a car to get about.
“our short stay”
We only stayed for a couple of nights and didn't spend alot of time at the hotel but our stay was enjoyable and the staff were all very helpful and kind
“4 star accommodation, 3 star food, not a 5 star hotel”
We booked 7 days half board at this hotel. On the evening we arrived we were shown to our table and given the a la carte menu to order from. The food was very bland, and apart from the fish in the main course, it was not freshly cooked. On the second night we realised that the hotel had made a mistake as they only gave us the menu of the day to choose from. This was 3 courses with an appetiser to start with. There where 2 choices for the starter and main course but no choice for the desert. None of the choices were vegetarian. This food was truly bad! I had beef which had to be the cheapest cut of beef ever, no taste and tough as leather. The starter and desert where no better. We persevered with this menu for the next night, but it didn't improve. On the 3rd night we asked if we could pay a supplement to be able to choose from the a la carte menu as at least we would have more choice. We thought we would have something simple so we chose spagetti bolognase. Should have been apiece of cake for a 5 star chef? When it arrived it was tinned spagetti, like the Heinz spagetti we used go get as kids! How hard is it to cook fresh spagetti especially when it's on the menu. To top the evening off, we decided to have a cocktail at the bar. We chose a martini and a mojhito. The bar man had to keep referring to a book for instructions, not a good sign. The mojhito had been made with dark rum and granulated sugar! Last thing - the beds are very hard.
