Sheraton Suites Old Town Alexandria
8/10 Good
"Liked the middle garden and the entrance garden. Wish that the hair conditioner bottle was full. The bottle was empty. The fruit water was and free coffee was offered in the lobby like many other hotels of this quality instead of Starbucks (pay)"

Courtyard by Marriott Alexandria Old Town/Southwest
8/10 Good
"This is a decent choice in the area. We have no complaints and it wasn’t amazing. I’d say a solid very good. We felt the bed was too firm but another in our party liked it. It was clean and not loud. Body wash dispenser was broken. The am front desk person was rude - not at all helpful to a foreign traveler and outright lied about not having a printer, since she printed a receipt for me before I even asked for it. Evening check-in was great! Super helpful person moved us to adjacent rooms. Breakfast and parking for a fee. We did not eat. Lot is a bit tight if you have a big car but there is a deck we didn’t use. I’d stay there again or choose a different option if it was cheaper."

Hotel AKA Alexandria
8/10 Good
"This was previously the Hotel AKA which is now named The Satire which is part of the Marriot chain. There were odd security stationed everywhere including entering the floors of our rooms. We are regular guests at the hotel and have never felt so uncomfortable. We loved the Hotel AKA, but may try other boutique hotels before staying here again. "

Hilton Alexandria Mark Center
10/10 Excellent
"My stay at the Hilton Alexandria Mark Center was truly exceptional. From the moment I arrived, I was impressed by how clean, warm, and welcoming the hotel was. The rooms were very comfortable, the bed sheets were spotless, and the bathrooms were well stocked with everything needed for a pleasant stay. One of the highlights of my visit was the breakfast. It was absolutely amazing — fresh fruits, vegetables, juices, and a wonderful variety of options. The breakfast area itself was inviting and well organized, and what stood out most was the attentiveness of the staff. The waitresses were kind, warm, and always smiling, often stopping by to ask how the food was and if everything was okay. That level of hospitality made a big difference. What made this stay unforgettable, however, was an unexpected and life-changing moment. By pure chance, I discovered that the Black Stars of Ghana were staying at the hotel. I ran into some of them in the elevator, which led me to meeting the entire team as well as members of the leadership. As a proud Ghanaian, this was a dream come true and an experience I will never forget. What started as a simple hotel visit for an event turned into one of the most memorable experiences of my life. Thank you to the Hilton Alexandria Mark Center for providing not just"

"Stayed for the night with family. It was a really pleasant and wonderful experience all around! Would stay again."

Embassy Suites by Hilton Alexandria Old Town
8/10 Good
"Hotel was located right in front of the metro. Perfect for those wanting to use this type of transportation. Breakfast was good and a lot of options. friendly staff members. The rooms were a bit older, furniture looked old, but overall good. The beds were very comfortable and bathroom was clean. I would recommend it."

Archer Hotel Old Town Alexandria
8/10 Good
"Lovely hotel… staff was available and very helpful. The downside in my mind, when you consider the price you pay for the room, was a very small TV and not a smart TV….no walk-in shower just a bathtub in which the knobs were difficult to use. Being in a boutique hotel and considering the price you pay per night you might think you would get a little more than what the room had to offer."
