Apparently they have a temporary manager at present and it is clear they need an experienced and enthusiastic professional to maximise its potential. "

"What a fantastic property. Rebecca was extremely friendly, helpful, altogether amazing. Beautiful room and view. Comfy bed, large bathroom, Nespresso machine, bottled water and jelly beans! The breakfast was excellent, fresh eggs from the chickens, really good selection of cereals, yoghurt etc and a large cafetière of coffee. What more could you ask for. What a gem! "

"From start to finish, Tracy and Jerry could not do enough. Their beautiful home was so welcoming and comfortable, it was a pleasure to stay there. "This BnB is easy to find and the couple are very welcoming. Nice quality of breakfast food, cooked fresh to order. No shampoo and body wash provided as it's a budget price, but it still represents excellent value. Very comfy bed, fluffy white towels and plenty hot water / good shower pressure. "Lovely b&b. Fantastic 3 course meal. Highly recommended. Kate is a super host. But the two dogs beg at the breakfast/dinner table. They need to be kept in a separate room while guests are eating. Breakfast was disappointing. Cooked breakfast consisted of 2 streaky bacon,burnt sausage and a fried egg with yolk overcooked. Make sure you ask how you want your eggs cooked. First morning we asked for scrambled egg which were perfect! Also the bedroom door needs a proper key lock on it. Everything...

"Very slow check in, card machine not working so had to write my card details down on a piece of paper (not sure this is compliant with GDPR). No iron available. Paid £15 for breakfast thinking it was a cooked breakfast but was only continental consisting of a box of cereal, a piece of ham, 2 pieces of cheese, rock hard crusty roll and a jar of strawberries. Drove 5 minutes down the road and got 2 full English breakfasts for £16. There was no shower gel and only half a toilet roll left for us....

"The property was in pleasant grounds, in an attractive village. There are a number of b and b rooms in the barn which is now an annex to the main house. The room had a high ceiling so was airy and spacious. The ensuite shower room was too. The bed could be a double or two singles so was large size and we found to be comfortable. There was a continental style breakfast to help yourself to in the dining room which also had a tv. I enjoyed watching the planes coming into land at the airport. These...

"Lovely place with beautiful authentic styling. Staff were super friendly and welcoming. Super breakfast in a gorgeous breakfast room that also does afternoon tea. Lots of hot water, great selection of tea / coffee - with biscuits. Bed comfy enough. Road noise may bother some. Close to Chester and Cheshire Oaks outlet - but you would need a car or taxi."

"Only two negatives : Needs black out blinds woke early as too bright. Beds arnt the comfiest , I sleep on a flat bed settee so the crease was in my bad and so uncomfortable and flat/hard & pillows were useless, not comfy On the plus : Clean , modern , bathroom nice and warm (radiator constantly on in there ) . Nice neutral decor . Well equipped kitchen , clean fluffy towels , hairdryer/iron/fan . Host was attentive ,very helpful told us to call if any problems , answered phone every time....
