“Affordable & central”

Great location close to train station and one can walk to most sights. Friendly employees. The only minus: WiFi is not very strong, pretty much only in the lobby available.

“Dismal hotel in a dismal town”

Ignore descriptions of Koblenz as a "hidden gem" - the town is dull and down at heel, with a very small area of attraction/ interest that I would certainly not describe as gemlike. Hotel was inexpensive, but felt dismal due to aging decor and location a good walk from the "main attractions" of Koblenz (but very handy for the station). It was clean and staff were pleasant, and breakfast was good. But I would recommend neither the town nor the hotel.
