"Best vacation"
So quiet and relaxing. Everyone was so nice and attentive. Terrific breakfast buffet. Amazing dinner at Saffron. The staff goes out of their way to help. The room is amazing. Huge comfortable king bed, soaking tub, great wifi. And the best private pool and outdoor area. It really couldn't have been more amazing.

"World Class facility, drop-dead gorgeous views"
World Class facility, drop-dead gorgeous views. Architect Miguel Angel Aragones should be very proud. This is among the best facilities I have ever stayed in. Really special. Value was also quite good. The staff was very eager to please, but if I had one tip for them, it would be to hire a world-class Concierge.

"Wonderful hotel with an amazing ambiente"
From the check-in to the check-out it was a perfect stay. The casita solita was an amazing lodge choice for us and our 8 months old daughter. Private pool can´t beat anything. The view is incredible and basically no need to leave the resort throughout the day. The little breakfast (coffee and sweet pastries), served through a little box, helped to start the day. It´s more than worth it to visit the Beach Club. Private shuttle is very convenient to get down and up.

"A pretty hotel but in a bit of a tired condition"
We asked to be and were upgraded to a beach facing room after much delay as the receptionist couldn't work out how much more to charge us as we had booked and pre-paid for a standard room. The room was fine but the next door room was having the palapa roof stripped off and replaced which was fine but did mean we had guys working throughout the daytimes right next door to us. We therefore suggested we shouldn't have to pay for the upgrade and in the end this was agreed to! Food was ok, nice terrace, Great margaritas! Great beach with pounding (very loud!) waves. Overall we quite enjoyed it but suggest an update is due!

"Great no-frills getaway"
The staff is fantastic! Carlos is the only one who speaks english, but they are so kind, sweet and accommodating. The view is superb, this place is peaceful, basic and relaxing but on the rustic side. It isn't a bargain resort. And it really isn't spa-like. It's pretty simple. And I think the 3 1/2 star rating is over generous. Although I did have the entire resort to myself for most of my stay. When I was there, the hot tub and sauna were not working. The beds are uncomfortable, the linen had holes in it & was scratchy. The TV's are a tiny 15" and a few english channels were avail. The rooms are small and basic - but the casa is awesome! I wish I stayed there. One day there were kids in the pool all day which was loud and annoying since the pool & pool area is small. Guests brought their dogs and along with the neighbor dogs, they barked throughout the night, that was not cool. This place does NOT have a shop for sundries or snacks and it is very remote from any kind of store. The food is basic and expensive for what it is. Certainly not gourmet. Taxi from the airport is $35 USD ($380 pesos) but they arranged a taxi for my return to the airport that was $25 ($200 pesos). There is nothing to do here except relax and enjoy the sun. No night life, nothing. Which is great if that is what you are going for - which I did. I stayed 6 days & nights, and that was too long. I should have stayed 4 nights.

"Other places might be better"
The hotel was all right, but nothing special. Very nice location, 10-15 minute walk to downtown hotel area and the beach. Service was great and staff was nice, but no refrigerator in an all-inclusive? There was not even an alarm clock in the room or ice machine in the hotel. Very family orientated, not good for singles.

"Three night business trip"
The room for my business trip was acceptable. One light buld was out, no big deal. The floors were rubber coated, different! The restaurant did not have an English written menu. I struggled through but it would have been good to know what all my options were. I speak no Spannish. The wine list option was dreadful. They had one brand of white, Sauvignon Blanc I believe, a Merlot and one ther red and that was it. The reds were also chilled. Terrible! The waiter service was also slow, especially keeping in mind there were few people sitting in the restaurant.
