“So far best hotel on Yas Island. Good value for money.”

Pleasant personnel, comfortable rooms, good swimming facilities and excellent golf course close by. We plan to return for a weekend sometime next year.

“Used to be good value - now just cheap and poor service”

We came back to this hotel in November 2011 after a pleasant experience last year during one of the Yas Island concert week-end. The experience this time was just very pool mostly due to inadequate service levels throughout from the reception deck to the house-keeping: 1- Very mediocre job on cleaning the room, making the bed... 2- Had to wait 2 hours to get towels for the pool. The pool area is probably the best part of the hotel but unfortunately get quickly overcrowded hence impossible to get a spot after 10am 3- Been refused to delay my check-out by one hour by the receptionist (a total no-no in any decent hotel) and got reminded at least 10 times by various staff members a minute after check-out time With significant competition on the Yas Island in similar price range (Radisson Blu, Rotana, etc) Crowne is definitely not the best choice in this category.

“Luxury for a reasonable price!!!”

I was very impressed with this hotel. The last time I was on Yas Island I stayed at the Centro, the same price but I was disappointed. I was upgraded to deluxe and I enjoyed my stay so much that I did not want to check out. The only downside was the pool, I did not expect so many children to be in it. My friends and I sat on the bar stools by the bar inside the pool and kept on getting splashed by the children. My margarita was mixed with chlorine!

“Yas value”

Having stayed at 4 of the Yas Island hotels including the only 5 star one, I have to say that the value at the Crowne Hotel is very good. The room you should request however plays an important part. Get it facing over the adjoining golf course and waterways as facing the front is looking at more hotels. The balcony rooms are particulalrly nice and would be 5 star elsewhere. Food can be a bit pricey at breakfast, howver the evening fare at Stills al fresco bar and restraunt is very fiarly priced and tasty. We were surprised however that food was not available till 12 by the pool and this needs rectifying. front desk experience fast and staff very pleasant. Free Wifi very good as well. We will be returning.

“The Yas Crowne a jewel amongst others”

The YasCrowne Plaza sits in a dedicated hotel culdesac and backs onto the Yas Island Golf course and waterways. It is far enough away from the race track to miss out on car noise, which was a relief as there was a meeting the weekend we stayed! The checkin was smooth,but as a returning customer, no recognition, which happens in other quality establishments. The first room I was offered was overlooking the car drop off, again not what a returning customer wants, and also no bellboy to carry bags. When I drew this to the attention of the reception manager, I was upgraded to a nice comfortable room and all was well. Pool area is very nice, as is al fresco dining at 'Stills' the bar, but disappointing that we had no live entertainment. Also the breakfast buffet is very very expensive. Other than that, a true 4 - 4.5 star accom. Great place to stay for nearby Yas Island concerts, but watch out as rates go up on these weekends.

“I will tell everyone to stay there!! I felt I should have paid more!”

I was perfect. The front desk was very helpful and the bell hops were on the ball getting all our luggage to our two rooms. It was exceptionally clean, and very comfortable with amazing views of the ocean. The breakfast was more than we thought it would be. Didn't even know it was included in our stay. Amazing. I give it two thumbs up!!! I amost forgot. They assisted in all our site seeing. They took care of EVEYTHING!

“Will use it on my next trip”

I stayed in this hotel for less than five hours only, because I had a connecting flight to catch. However, during this short stay I did enjoy the luxury and the comfort which the hotel provided.
