“I recommend the Rotana in Al Ain”

The Rotana is a very nice hotel in Al Ain. I would recommend it over any hotel in Al Ain if you want a nice room and hotel. The Hilton is much older but has nicer gardens and a pool area. I've stayed in the Hilton many times, the Murcure, but would take the Rotana anyday over all other hotels here. Trader Vics is spendy but a great place to eat.

“The only place to stay in Al Ain”

The Rotana chain of hotels is consistently excellent and this is one of the best, helped by a superb location opposite one of Al Ain's best parks (I have a 6-year-old son), within walking distance of downtown. Ask for a room overlooking the pool and you will be rewarded with good views of the town and the distant bulk of Jebel Hafeet, hazy in the daytime and sparkling at night as the 'stairway to Heaven' tempts you skywards. My son loved the pool and was carefully watched over by the pool attendants. The staff as always were courteous and friendly, and without exception they do all they can to welcome guests. This is the best you can have for a reasonable cost, and set in the beautiful town of Al Ain with so much to explore or return to, it's one to watch out for.

“Excellent hotel to stay in!”

We stayed at the Rotana Al Ain 10 years ago and were impressed witt the service so decided to stay there on our recent visit. We were delighted to find that the decision was a good one. Enjoyed the visit and will not hesitate to book again.

“5 nights in Alain”

Hotel wonderful -only complaint would be that they did not accept a debit card at reception and therefore sent someone up straight away to lock the minibar which was rather rude within an hour of my arrival. Also I specifically asked for non smoking and a king size bed on my booking form and was put in a smoking room which I had to change,and ended up in a room with 2 Queen size beds.

“very nice but could be better”

Good experience, the style is a bit out of date for a 5 star. The buffets were not very tasty but there are other dining options. Really weird that the breakfast buffet closed at 10:30 and no other alternative for food was available.
