read some reviews very critical of the hotel and little nit-picky things like fox news on tv in the breakfast area. Grow up and go back to the N.W. It is a great place to stay and as comfy as any Hampton I have stayed at. Only drawback rooms a tad small.

“Very Impressed”

We were very satisfied with our stay at this motel. The staff was great and the facility was clean. We requested and was granted a late check out. The pool was great. Too bad they were refurbishing the hot tub.

“One of Abilene's Nicest Hotels”

I like using Expedia because at check-in they have all your information ready where you just have to sign your ticket and not worry about exchanging money. Hampton Inn was a very nice hotel. We were a little concerned when we saw a group of teenagers were staying there, but there were no problems at all with noise. I think the only problem we had was the sheets kept coming off, so it just needed the deep fitted sheets. But if we do stay in Abilene again, we will definitely stay there. Also, breakfast was excellent and the people working there were very helpful.

“Great hotel with many nice amenities”

I stayed at the Hampton Inn in south Abilene on a summer weekend. The room was exceptionally clean and quiet on the busy weekend. The staff responded quickly when I had a problem with the bathroom toilet and courteous with my questions about the city. The hotel has a nice breakfast selection - hot authentic oatmeal in a crock pot is a favorite, but there is a variety of hot and cold selections as well. I also appreciated the complimentary USA Today newspaper and the afternoon snacks - cookies, tea, lemonade, peanut butter pretzels, etc. The Hampton is located near the highway for easy access, near the Mall of Abilene for shopping, a local movie theater, and a number of restaurants are within driving and walking distance. There's even a local organics market close by where I purchased some to-go drinks to stash in the fridge. I would stay here again.

“Good rooms for everyone”

Our stay in Abilene was mostly out at the state park. We slept there and had a good breakfast the next morning. The overnight stay was good.

“Class Act”

Our experience was a good one. The only problem we had was that the water was shut off for a while during the time we needed it. We left the hotel and when we returned there was a bag of goodies and coupons for a free meal for our family at a nearby restaurant from the hotel. There was also a note expressing their apologies for the inconvenience. Overall, a great place to stay. The kids loved the indoor pool and it made for easy access around the city.

Very nice hotel, clean, comfortable and quiet. They had snacks and offered water upon checking in. The breakfast was very good and included eggs and sausage as well as yogurt, fruit and cereals. The pool was very clean and the water temperature was perfect. We would definitely stay here again.
