"Motel built in 1963 is very well maintained with the rooms completely up to date, super clean and fresh. Bed utterly comfortable, not too hard, not too soft. Spacious king size room with all mod cons. Offers a wonderfully convenient and affordable stay in the heart of historic downtown Asheville. Friends staying at the top hotel ($600/night) were just a short walk away (5 mins or so). Did not partake of breakfast but looked like the norm with great hours (early to brunch) and a waffle station. Only shortcoming was slow loading tv that is easily overcome with strong internet streaming on one’s own device."
